      I didn’t cry but it got me in the feels more than ANY celebrity’s death. I’ll probably feel the same when the other three here go. Not Dave tho, I respect his contribution but he fucked everything else up later.

    • @pastxmas
      @pastxmas Год назад +2

      I cried like a baby the first time I heard Love Walks In and knew these were my guys, Van Halen the Balladeers of Rock, and I didn't care what anyone thought about it. Diamond Dave's thing just isn't my style. I cried again when Eddie died, and that very day, Sammy posted a performance of he and Eddie performing Love Walks in at a benefit, just piano and voice. They captured a rare magic there and it's a shame so many people, including Eddie and Sammy at times, have taken that special thing for granted. Eddie Van Halen isn't my favorite guitarist of all time, but he's my favorite keyboard player and will always hold that spot in my heart.

      Both were great front men. Saw them live with David Lee Roth in their prime. Holy smokes, he was high energy. Confident enough to pull off wearing no shirt and black leather pants with no seat material. Didn't miss a note. Wasn't sure about Sammy Hagar taking the reigns, but he pulled it off. Both had different styles, but both of them worked for VH. Concerts were freaking great back then.

    Not only was Eddie The Greatest but He Also Created The Greatest Sound As Evidenced by The Impeccable and Iconic Sound of This Lead. He sure was amazing. ***** What Made All of Those Guys Great Was They were all so competitive back than because of all the talent. What that did was as a direct result made everyone if those guys better players and musicians.
    *** They were all Tone Chasers Searching For The Perfect Tone. Time is slightly over half the battle. To be a great player and sound moderate/shitty is counter productive and counter intuitive and The Van Halen Brothers and The Band Itself Were Having Nothing to do with mediocrity. They learned how to do it properly from their Father and Mother and upholding their Family Legacy was a huge priority and importance. NOTE::: These guys were no accident. Their success was worked for and planned and prepared. Their legacy goes back further than the eye can see and mind can think. Their tradition is enriched and deep. ❤ Metal_"Kev"310
