In the nicest possible way how far has Oliver Parker come since his days being involved with St Trinians. This film is outrageously good, i loved John Standing's character and everyone from the care workers, to the care home manager, reporters right up to the veterans and central characters played their parts so well.
Great opportunity to see favourite actors Glenda Jackson and Michael Caine. Sadly Glenda is no longer with us but both have left a great cinematic legacy.
