      But now, I've been lucid dreaming for months, and nothing traumatizing or terrifing happened to me. If you keep a positive and cheerful mind while you're in your dream, everything will be alright(normally).
      For sleep paralysis, I don't how to avoid them and I never experienced them. But I know that if you sleep on your back, you have more chances to experience it.

    Me and a friend had a shared dream. It wasn't lucid, but after we woke up (He was at my house) we went outside to smoke a bowl, and we started talking about our dreams. Turns out we both dreamed about being at the side of my house looking into the woods at a bear. After we talked about it a little more, we found out that both of us saw the same bear doing the same weird egyptian dance. The only difference was that i saw a brown bear and he saw a black bear.

    yesterday i had my first lucid dream, after knowing about it for years and never been able to have one, yesterday i finally had a full on, long and controlable lucid dream!
    for those of you trying, i used an app called "dream" that works as a dream journal and a reality check reminder... so every hour you are reminded you need to check your reality. After using that for like a week i finally tried to check the reality in a dream and it worked!

    • @stellarVoid123
      @stellarVoid123 7 лет назад +34

      just a few things:
      -poking my finger through my hand did not work as a RC, but counting my fingers did.
      - while i had some degree of control, it was really hard to do what i wanted. For example, i could fly a few times but it demanded a lot of effort and sometimes i just failed.
      -I wanted to go somewhere but , because of my weak control my dream took me somewhere else. How can i gain more control of my own abilities, my surrounding , etc?

    • @soul23110
      @soul23110 6 лет назад +29

      That’s because you get too excited. You have to stay calm, and not run around or shout. Also, if you feel like you’re going to wake up, rub your hands together or spin around really fast.

    • @timmyrobinson1589
      @timmyrobinson1589 6 лет назад +20

      Casawi 7or this actually works man!!! Sounds ridiculous but somehow it does. I did the spin around method in one and it worked somehow... I’d say it has something to do with grounding yourself to the dream. You are sleeping in your bed, so you can’t actually spin or rub your hands together, so when you get your mind to do this within the Dream it’s forcing your mind to do something very imaginative which is what dreams basically are 🤔

It felt so wierd and I realized that I was dreaming. I was like:"holy shit I gotta try everything!" I tried to stand in Superman's pose (when he flies, like you mentioned in one of your videos) and slowly got in the air but my speed was increasing. I was bit scared and fell down. It wasn't too high though it was like 10ft. And I woke up. So it lasted like 10 seconds :P but still. I'm glad after trying for a week I succeed.

    Whenever I do dream I lucid dream, ever since I was kid. The most common thing I do is manipulate time. If I say something I don't like I rewind and fix it. I die in a dream, I rewind and take a different course of events. If something boring is happening I speed things up. My Lucid dreams do have some grounding in reality though as I have never been able to fly or have superpowers (besides time manipulation). But I am always aware I am dreaming.

    I had my longest lucid dream last night which only lasted about 15 seconds . I started the dream inside an office room and then I realized I was in a dream . I immediately yelled “ oh shoot I’m dreaming ! “ I can do whatever I want “” ! The next thing I know woman are walking into the room and then I woke up . And literally as soon as I woke up I yelled what the heck ! I was so mad the one time I have one it ends so fast and that’s what brought me here to this video . Also I didn’t tell the woman to come into the room so I don’t know if that was my subconscious dreaming or the dream taking control or if I just wanted woman there and my dream was listening to my subconscious. I am still trying to make sense of all of it .

    The most effective lucid dream i had was after sleep paralysis . I understood that i was experiencing sleep paralysis ( an awful thing really) so i decided not to try to make myself move and wake up so i can enter the sleep realm again with full conciseness . The dream lasted as much I wanted basically i ended it because i started getting confused with reality and i thought it was the right thing to do.

    I didnt know lucid dreaming was a thing people often experience. I lucid dream very often and can become lucid when I feel I'm in danger or when it's an amazing dream. The danger dreams are the worst, I've actually had to kill people. But the good dreams usually are my favorite. I can fly and leap/climb. Although many dreamscapes are familiar looking, once I'm lucid I can still explore where I am. I also am very weird where I can remember non lucid dreams as if they were memories. I've never been able to eat tho! I usually wake before I get to eat anything.

    I've had lucid dreams for years. There's a different quality in the type of characters I've encountered in my dreams. There's the projections of my mind, and there's the full people. The interactions determine which is which. I mean it's your mind, you have to trust your gut. Also, food for thought: Not everyone that lucid dream remembers it, so shared dreams are a possibility.

    Despite knowing about it and wanting to do it for years I've just woken up from my first lucid dream I'm 20 years old and it was a typical embarrassed high school dream after some high school shenanigans as well as being embarrassed I (still not aware of the dream) decided to run from the school and principal, this was when I wondered about my class ring as I recently got it irl and frequently lose it when it just hit me "why would I be in high school if I have a class ring?... I'm dreaming." Once I realized this I decided to test it if I was dreaming I wanted to fly and so I did and I know they say it usually takes time but for my first lucid dream it lasted some time of me flying around trying to outrun my principal (at this point just for fun)

    I have had (negative) entities break into my dream space on many occasions. I have had a fully lucid "shared dream" with a co-worker once. He left the dream upon his alarm clock and I was left wandering around for the next 20-30 minutes until my alarm clock went off. I have met people in my waking life in the astral many times as well, but not sure if that counts as a "dream." The biggest issue is that THEY DON'T REMEMBER. It is so frustrating. I remember my dreams, why can't they? lol

    The way people talk about sleep paralysis is like it’s dumb scary the first lucid dream I had was a sleep paralysis and it was like 2 million times slow motion to where it was like I was moving and I wasn’t but I just closed my eyes and I went into a dream and I was aware but it was like a movie and I was the director who decided what happened but I couldn’t physically control it it was with my mind like some random dude threw a big paper airplane I jumped on and flew up and I decided to go down so I told myself to go down then the next time it was another sleep paralysis and it was like I was falling and I went into a dream and I was controlling myself with my body movement but it wasn’t fully controllable

    if you want to improve your videos I suggestyou invest in a rode mic pro for your camera. It cacthes more bass in your voice and eliminates some of the echo

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +1

      Unfortunately my camera (Sony RX100 MK2) is only compatible with a couple of microphones due to having a proprietary hotshoe that doesn't accept anything other than two particular microphones. Neither microphone is particularly good in quiet indoor microphones, so they'd only improve the audio in outdoor situations with wind etc.
      I could get something like a Zoom H1 and sync in post, but right now I don't really have the funds to be investing in any more equipment, and I also think that even when I do I'll likely invest in room treatment before I invest in a second mic, since that kills two birds with one stone: fixes the echo, and also will improve my music listening experience.
      That said, I will eventually get an external mic just for the sake of outside recording (since particularly on my upcoming second channel I want to do more of that) - just don't expect it too soon. ;)
