Indonesia now offers Golden Visa also which gives you 10 years of stay. But it's very (too) expensive. Also new big modern hospitals are being build across Indonesia including one in Bali. You're absolutely right about healhtCARE. In Europe you don't get CARE in healthcare. You not being helped unless there is an emergency situation like traffic accident or something. In Indonesia, especially with private clinincs, they help you better than anyone else without delays. It's absolutely disgusting what is happening in Europe. In Europe they have modern equipment, modern buildings and everything, but the healthcare people and the system are corrupt. You are very passionate about Indonesia and I share it with you. You are speaking the truth.
Thanks. I dislike people who live here but moan all the time, or who live a life 'apart'. I am passionate about Indonesia, nor would I call it home, if I didn't feel that way. I am very blessed to have stumbled upon Indonesia in 1986, and to have made my life here. Yes, the golden visa is crazy expensive, but if you have the money why not! If people want to retire, or buy a golden ticket,I'd recommend asap. The rules won't last forever. As always, keep smiling.
A 3K/month income requirement seems over the top for a country with such a low cost of living. But it might well be worth it. I continue to be concerned about the medical care quality.
I state 3,000 as a very comfortable lifestyle. Obviously it's cheaper for 2 than 1. 2,000 dollars would easily see you through though, with money to spare. Regards.
looks like I'm going to retire to indonesia too.
Great video Professor! Tomas and Jaume we are back to Barcelona after the Java mision. Good to be in touch with this topics by your chanel!
Good news all is well, and keep smiling.
Yummy breakfast! 🎉❤
Best Chinese Omelette in Bali!
The financial requirement is sadly well over the UK state pension level.
Great Phillip!!!
Cheers!

No, you can't physically work in Indonesia on this retirement visa. However, you can still run your companies abroad

Can I continue to work on this visa?
Are you retired in Indonesia?
No. I became Indonesian about 7 years ago, but I thoroughly recommend to retire here when you can. Regards,
