This album just came out and it’s already as iconic as Glass Beach’s last one. Their stuff is sublime
the album is my muse fr
in my opinion its fine but i prefer the last one
I’ve listened to TFGBA countless times, but there’s some songs I tended to skip over. Plastic Death actually has no song I’d call weak, the whole album’s paced so well that I can’t help but listen to the whole thing over and over
TRUE...
this meme introduced me to plastic death, thanks
im so sorry..
gotta love how commatose is effectively 3 songs in one
this album is so peak. every song is a journey. every song is perfected. i listen to the entire album on loop 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Weird fart sound in commatose not mentioned, subscribing so i can unsubscribe
Bro this album is fucking sick
Cul-de-sac is so underrated
The best song of the album
one of the best albums (maybe the best)
i'm so so happy this randomly appeared on my homepage, this might turn into one of my year-defining albums
Every time I browse Bandcamp's newest releases, there's at least ONE album that makes those not-so-regular deep dives worth it and this is that album. Shocking how engaging it is!
This is so so real this album of theirs was literally so good
GOD I LOVE UNDER THE DOOR SO MUCHHH
glass beach mentioned
I wasn't sure about this album at first, but oh my gosh now I'm so happy this became another banger to me like the last one
the transexuals are loving this one
live laugh love glass beach 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
the ceolacanth, 200, and commatose ones are just like me
needed this in my life
realest video ever??
it's such a controversial album but personally i love it
Why is it controversial?
I've pretty much only been seeing people raving about it, and those that aren't are either turned off by the vocals (which happens with tons of treasured albums, like pretty much anything Radiohead has ever made) or straight-up transphobes.
@WillCanSnortIt personally I like the album writing wise but hate the mixing of it. TFGBA is a 10/10 instant classic tho
@@WillCanSnortIt The vocals on this album are distinct from TFGBA in that they're intentionally a lot more slurred. It's a lot easier to follow & sing along to their first album's lyrics, which imo makes them feel more emotionally resonant to me. I love J's voice in both but prefer it in TFGBA bc the crisp & punchier sound is just more my style.
listening to it feels like ur transcending into another dimension
first time i listened to it i was already sure their first album was better
listened once more and was already sure it wasnt
All your cartoonians is mine now
nuh uh i still own them
@@SillySocialyuh un their copyright expired in 2024
In MY opinion xd, the only thing of this album that i dont like is when in some songs like slip under the door J
screams like so loud and disonant with the melody cause the melody is the thing that i love the most in every song, for example, in 200 J screams a lot and quite loud but the screams are in tune with the melody and they make the song really epic and enjoyable, and practicaly anything else of the album is ok or perfect.
GB i lov u
The expressions are so on point
Marvelous
Why did you unlist your MSM stuff?
it’s a whole thing but they’ll be back up by tomorrow
dejavu
the songs blend together way to much, they lack identity.
what the fuck happened
it’s all gone..
Wait people like this album, I thought it was awful compared to their first, and slightly better than their second remix thing
honestly thats completely fair, but my perspective on plastic death is that it’s a completely different beast compared to tfgba. i didn’t think it was BAD compared to first even if it was very different, i just thought it was something new
It does go hard, I'd honestly puck the first one over this but I enjoy this one too
I can understand liking the first one more, but *awful?* No way. Some songs sank in more on subsequent listens but the album’s ambitious, exciting, and super-textured. You can absolutely tell the 5-year gap between albums, they’ve totally evolved their sound
@@SillySocial to be honest I wasn’t paying that much attention the first time I listened, I’ll give it a second shot, I just thought it all sounded a little samey the first time
@@scruffmutt I’ll listen again
Its so sick man
