Dear Sir For the second question i.e 60 mm leg. We have got an ans of Tdn - 156 KN Tdb - 111 KN And the final ans is 111 KN Can you please confirm whether the same is correct or not. And if its wrong, please share the correct ans.

Minimum pitch distance is 50mm pitch distance means bolt centre to centre distance. total there are 5 bolts so, 4 bolt to bolt spans are there so 4x50. So Lc=200mm. Please refer the diagram. And in IS 800:2007 code minimum spacing for bolt to bolt is not less than 2.5 times the diameter of the bolt. So our diameter of the bolt is 20mm so 2.5x20 is 50mm that’s I took bolt to bolt distance is 50mm. Please refer page no 73 and clause number 10.2.2 for minimum spacing.
@@SANJAYA_KHATARI In IS 800:2007 code page number 73 Table no 19. Code specifying that we have to add 2mm for the bolt diameter. I mentioned clearly in the video. Please refer IS Code 800:2007 thoroughly

its a practical subject…you have to practice more examples so that you will also easily do
Gross area of outstanding leg

Outstanding leg means which is not connected to the angle
Sir Anc me se bolt ka diameter bhi to minus hoga

You're welcome and thanks for your subscription
How do you get the value of Le
Distance from bolt to bolt is 50mm that is pitch distance code specified total 4 spans are there so 4x50
In first case
Anc = ( 90 - 18 - 6/2 ) * 6
= 414 mm²
Okay
When 90mm leg is connected to gusset, the strength of the plate is 196.364 kN
Pitch distance is 50 so there 4 pitch distances are there that is bolt to bolt distance so 4x50 is the Lc value.
What is the full form of ISA
Indian standard Angle section
Hiw you got LC=200?
4x50=200 4 means 4 spans and each span is 50 mm nothing but pitch distance between bolts. Please refer code book thoroughly

Sir Lc value?
Bolt centre to centre 4x50=200 number of spans is 4 each span distance is 50
Anc Mai Dia of bold is reduced check
What is the value of Lc?
Total 5 bolts are there, so centre to centre bolt distance which is called as pitch distance is 50 mm. In 5 bolts 4 spans are there. So Lc value 4x50
Net area of the connected leg (90-18-6/2)* 6 =
Just did what the book has...but you should put your brain at least.. 😁

why you havent subtract the bolt hole diameter in Anc
It’s connected leg
I was going to comment that..I just saw the same problem in ither channels n they subtracted the bolt hole
Exactly here he did it wrong. The bolt dia should also have been deducted since it is the net area
