The Old Class 37 Brings The New Class 93!

In this short video, we capture the unique Mirrlees Class 37 37901 Mirrlees Pioneer taking the brand new Class 93 tri-mode locomotive 93001 from Crewe South Yard to Worksop Down Yard after some testing at Crewe for more paper work to be filled in before returning to Crewe again for further testing.
We capture the pair climbing the steep 1 in 102 of Dronfield Bank as they make their way towards Sheffield with the unique 37 sounding great.
A few hours later would see a second move to Worksop with former DRS Class 37 37401 taking sister loco 37402 & former Network Rail Class 73/9s 73952 & 73951 which have now been purchased by Harry Needle passing through Dronfield Station.
After catching the train back home to Chesterfield a short time later would see the return of 37901 heading from Worksop Down Yard to Derby RTC with the two barrier coaches that sandwiched the Class 93 and what a sight this was as the Mirrlees beast storms through the station to end off a day of Class 37 thrash in Derbyshire!
