This theme always makes me think of fighting Evrae on the airship. Such an epic adrenaline charged boss track.

Yes that boss!!! They wanted to challenge the players before going to crash the wedding and rescue Yuna. It’s just like when you complete Mt Gagazet and Auron says that Lady Yunalesca sent a fiend to challenge the crew. God I love the battle system too and the game is as hard or easy as you wanna make it. It is an rpg so you might wanna grind however considering this is a Lenear game (sorry think I spelled that wrong) and is highly story driven some players (like myself) wanna just keep the story going while doing the bare minimum for grinding
It was a pretty tough fight for me; I died several times. After I beat Evrae, they jumped Seymour's wedding. I didn't heal and one of the robots kicked the shit out of my team and I died. I was pretty pissed because of it
It's because this is the first actual boss of the game that you have to try and understand how to play the game and deal with status ailments or you'll die several times. Gameplay and story picks up from this point on in the game and the difficulty spike comes with it. Evrae is the boss at the climax of FFX.
I have set this as my boss ringtone for 15 years lol

This may not be the best "track" as a song itself. But this was the most fitting boss music ever. It really felt like if you didn't win it was over. Everything was riding on this battle.
Yep. Especially when it plays against the fight with Overdrive Sin. If you don't finish the fight quickly you are doomed. This song is PERFECT in that fight.

This never gets old from listening to this boss battle theme. The hardest battle I ever faced was against the Sin. From what I finally beat the Sin, thanks to Anima Aeon. (If spelled right). Been awhile since last played ff10 remaster was released. Fun game but never completed the game as seem boring at the ending so yeah xd
The hardest boss fight of any ff games main story is never the hardest. The "special" bosses are mate.

@@Matanumi Probably because he wants to download, put it to listen on a cellphone and 30 minutes could take too much space. Some times is boring converting or editing soundtracks to let it less longer or less "heavy" for each soundtrack we want to listen. On the other hand, is boring letting seven minutes playing on YT while studying and coming again on the same tab and replay over and over again, for each seven minutes. So it is up for each person or moment.
Finally, a video game OST uploader not trying to make a profit from the original composers hard work.

what i love about this one is it's just so much more vibes than a lot of the FF boss themes from this era. FF7 to 9 had blistering prog rock epics with guitar solos and winding songs, but the FFX one is more subdued

This is my favorite theme I first heard it when encountering an enemy and sounds like the part when your in the tunnels in FFVII remake too
My favorite battle music of all time. I absolutely love it.
I work with a surgeon who has the staff play this in the OR when a trauma case comes in.

All I can think of is the Overdrive Sin boss fight. Trying to take out all 140,000 HP before Giga Graviton.
Thankfully I had the ultimate weapons and I had to go into other sphere grids

I remember fighting the sanctuary guardian and the side of sin with this music and unleashing Bahamut’s mega flare against sin. I love this track.
"Desperate Struggle" from XIII reminds me a lot of this track.

Sorry but 7 and 8 had better boss soundtracks....now the heavy metal 1 wasn't that bad but didn't have that Final fantasy feel to it.

"9 is the worst F.F." F.F. IX is back to the classic F.F. from 1 to 6 so it isnt bad,it back to the ancient medieval times and the game and the OST were great.The one you could say is the worst F.F. is F.F. 13,12 and 15 were so good too and many people just hated them because the gameplay without the classic turn combat system.
