- Metaphor: ReFantazio - Battle Theme (Regular)
A loop I made for the battle theme you get after striking an enemy without an advantage. I'm not sure if this version of the loop has been uploaded yet, but it's amazing regardless!
The anime-style cut ins when you're ambushed go so hard with this music
no idea what he's saying but he's spitting
I still don't know is being said yet, but the language is Esperanto.
FIRE 🗣🔥
I think is Latin.
Like the original language of the Book.
@@elbuglioneI've heard from multiple sources that it is Esperanto, which makes sense given the theme of the game
@@sonicbhoc
The theme of the game is based on the book (UTOPIA)
Lotus Juice's ancestor be poppin' off.
Meguro channeling Strange Journey all the way
Finally an upload where it's not extremely quiet
Crazy how it's just a regular battle theme, but it sounds like a boss fight.
Really does set the tone for the world and what threats it is facing. Every battle is a dance with death itself, and the journey ends with one mistake.
I mean, a game with Press Turn and the enemy gets to strike first? that constitutes as a boss fight in my book
It is an Atlus game.
Just like Strange Journey
If you're playing on Hard, this battle theme fits completely lol
This battle theme fits two tones simultaneously. The first is a theme of caution. You intiated the battle on even footing, be mindful. The second, your error in judgement has put you in grave danger. The enemy will strike first, and on hard, it may be fatal.
The way you worded that gave me chills
Can even say, the tones gives you feelings of anxiety, which is the sort of "lore" of the game.
Perfect description of Regicide difficulty :D
Ye right, already loved be captured by fire worms at mines and white wolves in Cathedral dungeon, insta death in 90% fights
The theme of you know you are FUCKED in Hard mode when the enemy strikes you first 😂
Man, Atlus never misses with their OST. I hope the story ans characters reach that highs later on in the game.
This journey becomes really strange...
THE FUCKING COOKED WITH THIS THEME HOLY SHIT
*part members dying*
Gallica: "Oh no, can someone revive him"
Me: SHUT UP GALLICA!!!!! *tries not to panic hard mode*
When you're cooked but the song slaps so it's all good.
These JRPG always have crazy good battle themes, keep slaying!
that one moment in grand cathedral where you spot a chest guarded by a Homo Oppo, you tried sneaking behind it only for it to be aggro-ed and slams you immediately.
and I'm playing in hard mode, so that fricking egg and a magic zombie wiped me in a single turn.
10/10 would hear this tune on my deathbed again
DUDE I feel you. You’ll see two homo fulquilo later in the cathedral. They have 1600 hp, will summon white wolves and ice resistant toothes and hit like a truck. I got ambushed by one because I was surprised of how fast it attacked. Entire party almost wiped, had to use revives and multiple healing items to make it through the fight. It buffs its mobs, has 4 TURNS, and hits like a truck. Literally I was so scared after that mistake because I’d lose like 20 minutes of progress. This game is extremely punishing on hard mode.
It’s basically fighting the boss from the nord mines dungeon again but this time it’s a mini boss and there’s TWO of them and they can summon mobs to kill you
@@MonsterhunterFTWWTF I didn't have as difficult a time because I was lucky enough to bring a mage with ice spells into the fight, but it's still really rough to fight those two because your natural instinct is to assume they're weaker than the boss variant in the mines. Turns out, they're much harder.
I don't care what the "Specialized journalist" says ... This is a new Classic.
Specialized journalists seem to say... This is a new Classic.
(94 on metacritic as of now.)
He is straight yappin' facts 🔥
I can't decide if I prefer this battle theme or the other one. I love the OST so much!!
lotus juice's ancestors are amazing. i see why he's a legend! he comes after many legends in his bloodline!
I didn't even realize there was a different battle theme for jumping into a fight without stunning first.
just like your parents didn't realize you would get a porn addiction and cut your schlong off
I believe this song also plays if the enemy hits you.
It's more like an (ENEMY ADVANTAGE) theme on hard. Heck the vocals seems to be cheering for them LOL and is making you consider loading your last autosave. In a weird way seems to be driving home that "anxiety" feeling with the rift after the vocals... your not gonna have a good time.
Ahh, the 'OH FUCK' theme song.
Damn, love him or hate him, he shpittin'
I’ve read that a Shintoist priest is the one doing the chanting in this song.
Buddhist priest, actually. He's credited in the liner notes as Keisuke Honyro, chief priest of Myojoji temple.
@@melkieantilles thx for the correction
thank god a good upload
I know that will never happen, but... This could be Final Fantasy killer.
Final fantasy is the final fantasy killer dawg
@@solaymantadmori1447 seriously lmao they are way too expensive and ambitious in scope and not recouping their losses. Talking about they haven't met sales expectations. They literally killing themselves at this point 💀
ATLUS is the jrpg Gods now. SQEX has gone woke.
@@eW91dHViZSBpcyBjZW5zb3JzaGlw lol
Square is killing FF with their unrealistic expectations and massive budgets. The fact that FF16 can sell 3 million in a week on a single console and still not be enough for them says it all.
This sounds like a track from Drakengard, with chaos language and all xD
I hear it's Esperanto.
Well they definitely took inspiration from Yoko Taro's games.
@@temera7712They even got Yoko Taro to advertize it
@@moss9602 It's more like Yoko Taro decided to advertise it himself.
every time I got this one I was sweating a lot xD and it ended with game over most of the time on hard.
BIGGEST YAPPER I've seen in an OST
now i'm really curious how will one cover this song
The demo is out... You can't move the saved game to the final game.
You'd need a church choir and a Buddhist monk.
THIS BEAT MAKING ME WANNA MAKE A SUMMONING CIRCLE SUMMON THE 72 DEMONS OF GOETIA AND RULE THE WORLD.
a JAM i'm hyped and i aint even fighting
الثيمز باتل بالعبة ذي بشكل عام رهيبة

the tone of this has me interested in this game. this sounds odd for a normal battle theme. it's more like... a strange journey boss theme. is this game anything special?
This is not really the "normal" one, this one plays when you are fucked and the enemies have the advantage and will combo attack you first.
The game isn't out until the 10th of October, so just a few days. There is a demo if you want to try it.
Is the game special? Dude there’s a demo. Why are you asking us? Ask yourself!
@@Chunnibyoubaka you're a day late to someone already telling me this lol, im gonna try the demo later today
I played the "demo" for 20hs... Not kidding.
This game is HUGE.
I got the game, this might no longer be Persona 5 without the heart and style

KATSUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

For both versions of the battle theme, the instrumental and choir are properly epic and it sounds great. It's just that the buddhist monk mumble rap in the background is too silly and funny to take the battle themes seriously.
I respect your opinion even though it's terrible.
Agreed. the voice is distracting and the default volume is so loud it could be another gameplay indicator during the battle. Any talk should be reserved for character/npc-specific actions.
Funny cause I think it adds to the feel of the music. Especially in battle. The "mumble rap" also scratches my brain just right.
@@hunkynchunkyagreed
@@fawazr I don’t respect it. It’s an absolutely terrible take.
