one of the games I will NEVER forget in my life, it was a joy to play it. Story, atmosphere, soundtracks, the art etc. everything fits together in perfection. Square made a legend with this. Could wish to forget it anyway and play again like in the first playtrough back then when it was released on PS2 and live again the fascination :D a masterpiece

Let's be real, FF music is fire 100% of the time. It's one of the things they get right every time, even if Uematsu isn't involved. They can make some crap games but they never, ever, miss on the music.

i dont know why, but this sounds like the kind of music that plays when two VERY POWERFUL opposing forces that should never fight meet and are forced to do so, i imagine this creating an FF XIV inspired Cataclysm.
Personally, I imagine this as the kind of music when a character suddenly feels chills, turns around and sees in the far off distance *a powerful, mysterious and terrifying figure* that the character somehow knows is coming after them... _and in despair, they start frantically running, _*_as the figure starts chasing them, slowly catching up._* Similar to Death stalking Puss in "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish".
Yeah, most commenters here seem to think of the Guado chase, but I’m with you. This track, to me, will always evoke memories of being inside of Sin, & level grinding against tough baddies, in preparation for the finale.

The remastered versions of any FFX songs butchers it, the remastered version of this theme sounds so much less serious and just sounds weird.

this melody gives me the idea of a nightmare you can't escape. you keep running, but you keep hitting dead ends. there's no escape.
pretty sure this plays near or in the caves that lead to Omega. Thus captures the feeling of encountering a terrifying force.
