Cedar Point desperately needed a new Family Coaster and this gets the job done quite nicely
That's what I thought until I went on it last October. For me it was a nightmare and I will not be going on it ever again. It has nothing to do with the ride. It wasn't scary or anything. But for some reason, the safety restraint pushed so hard on my chest that I had a really hard time breathing the whole ride. 😢. None of the other rides at Cedar point gave me that issue. Only wild mouse .
@@victoriasimoneau3659pretty sure your either skin and bones, (no offense i used to be like that) or your really short (same thing here)
Finally something for the families in Cedar Point
Other than Iron Dragon and Woodstock Express.
Fun fact: Iron Dragon is actually the world's oldest and longest currently operating suspended swinging rollercoaster, at 2800 ft.
(Although if we include fixed seating inverted rollercoasters, Banshee at Kings Island is the longest at 4124 ft.)
However, when it was open, the Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg was older and the same length.
And XLR8 at Astroworld was 3000 ft when it was open, and it opened after the Big Bad Wolf but before Iron Dragon.
And Eagle Fortress at Everland was even longer, at 3200 ft.
Bruh we got a ton of family stuff at CP, you have to really look and go to the park with the mindset of family stuff to find it!
Family is everywhere at disneyland, barely any thrill there
The whole boardwalk section is family orientated
@@kennethboozer6148not the swings
It’s also a tribute to their old wolf mouse coaster back in the 60 or 70s
@StrawberryBoba_Pearls awww
I love _wolf mouse_ coasters
I’m actually really happy with how everything on the board walk turned out!
While we are all probably wanting a big roller coaster, this is really great for families, and it is actually pretty fun!
This coaster makes the board walk really cool especially with all the signs they added and the pavilion is gorgeous! Cant wait to be back in a few weeks!!
It’s not a terrible ride it’s just short. I definitely recommend it when it has a shorter line
Honestly sometimes you need a more chill ride, this does it
Disaster transport -> GateKeepr
Wicked twister -> Wild Mouse
If I built a park I'd have 2 of these rides. You gotta have the medium chill thrills for everyone to enjoy and this is perfect.
This ride was not chill it was the chiropractor
Some don’t like this but I think it’s really good, it looks amazing especially behind the boardwalk sign and it pays homage to an old ride at the park which most of the time people like so I think it’s a good investment
I love the colors. Everything really pops. I think they did pretty good for the families.
That's actually a really cute ride tbh
Wow! What a great job making a whole new "theme" to that area!
Cedar Point was lacking a modern family coaster in their lineup and this ride absolutely nailed that gap.
I can’t wait to go to cedar point one day it’s on my bucket list
You will LOVE it
No but it actually caught me off guard how crazy it was. They also unspin you at the end of the ride and it kinda helped with the dizziness lol
I have actually went on wild mouse yesterday and it was very fun good for the family. This is from a ride actually from valley fair and it definitely improved it
-faster
-Shorter turns
-more spin.
I love that the cars look like the biddybuds from super Mario 3D world, so Super Nintendo land somewhere should get one of these and theme it to that or regular goombas
My Mom and I rode it and had a good time. Kind of a short ride but the line also moves fast
You should ride Zambezi zinger it’s so much fun 10/10
The seats look well comfy
That ride is so fun I went on it at Fourth of July
Cedar point needed an intermediate coaster one that fits between the coasters Gatekeeper, Steal, ect.
the maverick is a crazy one! just got back from cedar point!
Rode it twice this weekend. Fun ride!
I went to cedar point for the first time on Friday and went on wild mouse first. Thought it was going to be my favorite coaster of the day (it was my first) but then I rode maverick 😂
Maverick, millienium force, and steel vengeance are all the best coasters there.
I do wish they would focus on adding one or two entry level coasters like iron dragon for the like 8-13 year olds that aren't quite ready for the big stuff. Everything younger is spinny. Everything older is intense.
I was going to ride this coaster with my sister but she chickened out on it. I had to ride it with a woman and her to kids. I witnessed a little girl go from hating roller coasters to loving them in a minute. I definitely recommend this coaster. 😊
I need a coaster like this. Due to health conditions, I need to be careful with G-force, so a not so intense coaster like this is always appreciated
Sadly i am not a rollercoaster girl :/. Although, I love to learn about them! I live 20 minutes away from Hershey park and they also have a wild mouse that is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I found it HORRIFYING. It's pretty simple coaster, but when I rode it with my bff on a field trip, I thought it would be ok, I turned out very wrong. The coaster looked fairly easy and they had remodeled it recently beforehand. When I went on, I thought nothing of it. When I was going up though, I regretted my decision. The turns are WILDLY FAST AND SHARP even though they don't look like it. I cried almost the entire time bc it was that horrifying to me 😂. My bestie, a Daredevil also almost cried too. But what we realized after was that it was not one of the easiest coasters, buy it was ranked a 5/5 for scariness, meaning I rode one of the rollercoasters that compared to the famous laugh track, being even worse than super duper looper! Very impressed of myself now, but that was so scary, I ain't ever gonna do it again 😂
you should really take suggestions from your viewers who have ideas of theme parks in their area!
I think it would be good!
For a park that gives us such great rides on a consistent basis, they more than earn the right to whip up an innocent ride every now and then. I'm glad the community has respected this decision, and in the end, enjoyed the ride!
We have something similar to this at the Columbus Zoo and it is so jolty and painful, hopefully this one is smoother
This LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE MAD MOUSE AT MICHIGAN'S ADVENTURE!!!!
I went to cedar point last week and didn’t really want to ride it. Can someone who has been on it reply to this and say what they thought about the ride?
Hey! So I went on the ride a few weeks ago and I have to say it was pretty cool with the sound effects and spinny mouse cars. Some turns are pretty intense (the ride changes bc the cars spin differently each time) and its perfect for families. It is short but its always a good time on it 😁 especially when youre in a really spinny car. I would wait for a shorter line if you ever plan to ride it
I just went to cedar point 2 weeks ago and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a theme park I rode every single coaster in there except for one of those being Topthrill dragster since it was closed for the 2023-2024 season The other to be the kiddie coasters wilderness run and Woodstock express And finally the last coasted that I didn’t ride was wild mouse just because it just didn’t look interesting to me it looked like every other off-the-shelf wild mouse you would find in a theme park but it was still a really fun experience the coasters were fun and amazing my favourite one being steel vengeance and the people that I met were super chatty
Yeah.. it’s all great until you realize it replaced wicked twister.
@@FrappeInsiderand is the reason dragster is opening next season instead of this season.
Honestly I wish there was more effort put into the “medium” thrill rides. Stuff like Hagrid’s motorbike adventure and Cobras Curse that can be intense, but don’t feature loops or massive drops so can help transition people from kiddie rides into the thrill rides.
Also gives the designers and manufacturers more creative room when they don’t have to worry about massive forces or heights and can be a great way to test out new elements.
glad cedar point is adding more family friendly and less intense coasters i love coasters but too scared to go on insane ones😭
Ngl, a ride named Wild Mouse not being the traditional wild mouse roller coaster that you see everywhere (I’m pretty sure Disney World even used it) is super cool
Ahhh yes. The Zamperla Twister Coaster. A fun ride for everyone. They offer different layouts too, including the classic "Crazy Mouse" layout that you can find at traveling carnivals.
I love how this video in High resolution! ❤
Yes, this is a great addition to Cedar Point! Even for us Enthusiasts! Anyone ever ride the Pipe Scream at The Point?😂 Great ride
i loved this ride it was my fav after valravn. we got to ride the cheese for some reason we really wanted to.
Just rode it today with my wife and 6 & 4 year old daughters. We enjoyed it. I will say the workers are closely encroaching on parents rights getting in the face of the little ones asking them if they want to ride or not and if they say no they don't allow you to ride.
Should have been a dueling wild mouse. One standard wild mouse, one spinning. Something worthy of being at Cedar Point.
Im so excited i get to ride this tonight!!
I liked it. Rode on the 19th for my birthday. I found the spinning great and the laterals crushing. But the turn after the first set of safety breaks is painful and the seats to low
Hey! That was Kermit’s birthday too!
This reminds me of the old Disney World wild mouse that spun like this sad to see it gone.
I went on that like, yesterday. And it was very fun!
The ride was more fun than I thought it would be, but I still would have liked to see a more elaborate family coaster instead of Wild Mouse and the Grand Pavilion, rather than something that can be easily cloned.
As someone who is scared of most roller coasters, I approve of the fact that Cedar Point has a few that I can stand.
the cheese is the best car!! it spins faster then all the others:D
Pretty much a copy of “Han Katten” danish for Wild cat, in BonBon land
I went on that in May. It was really fun!!
You need to go to Kansas City and ride the Zambezi Zinger it’s the best!
It’s my 4th favorite ride in the park NgL
It’s like Pandemonium from First Texas
Reminds me of the spider at Lagoon in Utah ❤
Awesome!
Seems like SO much fun!! ❤❤❤
i love the cedar point park it was a fun experience
Love it there but sad story behind it is I only got to go there one time and that’s with my papa and I don’t get to see him so I remember about that place because we both went there
I went to cedar point earlier this year and I didn’t see it. I wish I did, since it is something new that I haven’t tried yet.
Me too it’s so fun!
I would ride that one but it was too long of a wait
Reminds me of mad mouse from Michigans Adventure
It's probably the best wild mouse out there
Family coaster my ass! Lol we rode it last week and went into a dead spin for the last 3/4 of the ride! Literally couldn’t even see and almost lost vision! I loved it! It was the last ride we rode!
it reminds me of santa cruz boardwalk coster
I didn’t know that this was new. I went on it yesterday. I read it a 10 out of 10. It was really fun but I wouldn’t put your hands up because you would slam against the walls.
They couldn't even make it a "world breaking" Wild Mouse?! For shame Cedar Point, for shame! 🤣
Thats like a roller coaster in finland named Salama
I rode it and i enjoyed when it spun around
We hit our heads on the turns
Seems like the Spider from Lagoon in Utah
Just curious, I always thought that if I ride a lot of roller coasters that they will get boring and since you ride ALOT of roller coasters do they get boring or less thrilling?
Reminds me of spider at lagoon
Can you go to Kings Island in Mason Ohio? I’ve been there like so many times !! You have to ride Diamondback, Orion, and the Beast!!
What your favorite coaster in k.i
@@Claytainment16mine is Orion it’s so FUN!!
@@That_girlaaa nice mine flight of fear cause it's crazy
Looks similar to the tony hawk ride at six flags fiesta texas
The best spinning car coaster is undoubtedly Undertow
I’d love to ride this but I’m waiting for a day I go where it doesn’t have a 40 minute wait or is closed
I went on this and I LOVE IT
I rode Mazey the mouse btw
It's so cute
It reminds me of spider at lagoon
Tbh it’s a good ride but wish wicked twister was still there
Please go to Liseberg in sweden it will do my day
Going in August!
Rode this today got the cheese car I would recommend
I saw that thing and it looked so wierd so then I looked past that and went on the maxiar
I went on that and it was the most funnest ride I’ve ever been on. I was just in Ohio a couple days ago.
Larry the rat looks BLAZED
I love wild mouse 🥰🥰
I loved it
Cant believe they replaced wicked twister with this
We are there right now
lol I really wanted to go on this ride, but the line & wait was so damn long, so we just skipped it 😂
Unless you can’t handle spinning like me😭
(Im typing this at night after 2 days of Cedar Point tomorrow going home)
I like wicked twister
Is that Yukon striker from Canada wonderland from one of the clips
It also jerks a lot, which may be seen as a bad thing, but I think it sort of went well with the ride. It made it more enjoyable in a way.
Me to it's so spiny
It also makes a fart noise when you get to the top
