Underrated and underapppreciated song by an Underrated band, easily my favourite song of all time by Runrig, shows the peak of Rory's songwriting as well as the vocal talent by all members of the band who sang in this masterpiece, easily one of my favourite songs in the last 3 decades with very few contenders, the chorus is the peak as well as the brilliant guitar solo from the superb Malcolm Jones, but let's not forget the late Bruce Guthro's sublime vocals in the stanzas leading up to the chorus not forgetting the backing vocals he and Brian Hurren supply in the chorus as well, absolute masterpiece 🙂🙂 RIP Bruce 😪🙏🙏
Breaks my heart to think we will never hear Bruce G beautiful voice live again thank you for the music the year's we shared rest easy my friend if there's a bar up there have a dram on me buddy🥃
Sad, tragic news on Bruce's passing. This was exclusively his song. Thank you for the joy your voice brought to myriads of fans. Margaret & John McLean 😢
That's one heck of a powerful tune - with a typically passionate vocal by Bruce Guthro ( Rest in Peace, Bruce - you have been taken away a way too early)
Malcolm Jones is an inspiration! He has steadily developed into one of the most talented electric guitarists of the past 30 years. He's our secret from the rest of the world. Beautiful song!

They recon eric clapton is one of the best. Malcolm Jones even better
I remember the concert, and the rain. But with Runrig on the stage, you nearly forgot the rain :)
Definitely an underrated band. Sorry that, like me, it's time to slow down a bit!
