Clean out/declutter videos like these highlight how ridiculous consumerism is in the beauty industry especially lately with releases and collections and limited editions just dropping one after the other, year round, non stop. Imagine all these lipsticks are really all the same sort of pinks, peaches, mauves, nudes, browns and reds with little difference and yet people buy new ones all the time. If you wear lipstick everyday, you may run a tube down to the last in like, 6 months. So that's only 2, maybe 3, lipsticks a year. Daaamn.
And the thing is that this is Tati's job and most of these she might have gotten for free. Or otherwise she's rolling in money anyway. But imagine her regular subscribers. How much money are you throwing away trying to live like these people on RUclips?
All The Artsy exactly! Me and my friend went through our makeup and were just shocked to find out how much we had that would go off before we could finish it. When we started calculating the price of all of these things.. Let's just say we actually didn't buy anything new for 6 months after that. It's insane

I rarely buy makeup but I know what you mean. Companies are always coming out with new products and the shades are usually very similar.
This is why i find it so hard to believe that these beauty gurus are raving about the “new best” products that come out & then we never seen them using it again in videos. I tend to buy things that i see RUclipsrs use consistently & not the hottest new thing especially without seeing & touching it in person. I have a whole lipstick drawer of lipsticks that are at least $20 each, such a waste

Whenever I try to wear lipstick I feel like some of it gathers at the corners of my lips, which is not cute lol. I'd love to hear if you have any advice on how to either avoid this from happening or how you minimize how often it occurs.

Caroline Klepacky depends On the brand and what kind of lipstick you wear. And if your eating or drinking. All lipstick wears down. I always carry my lipstick around when I go somewheres 🤷🏻♀️

I usually use nuxe lip balm first. Best lip balm to use before any lipstick 😊
Maybe try focusing the lipstick at the centre and blending out to the corners with a brush?
Would love to use all the discarded, expired lipsticks to make an enormous swatch canvas. You have curated such an amazing collection of colors, it would be lovely to preserve that vibrancy!
Tati..I loved your video when you broke down. I get you're on here, but that video you were real and showed that you are real and have bad days like the rest of us. We all do and to see that made me love you even more. Don't be afraid to be you and show more of yourself. I get keeping some things to yourself, but don't ever be afraid to show us you! You are wonderful, good and bad.
it would be great if brands would send in PR packages maybe only 1 full sized lipstick so you can see the real deal, and then all other colours in travel size. it would be so much more environmentally friendly and less waste of stuff that goes off.
They have started doing that for foundations and I think it's great! It is so much less wasteful.

So today I kept looking at my subscription list for todays video. It wasn't there so Iwent on a mini mad search till I realized it was Saturday. I think I'm addicted.
