Can you do a makeup guide for waitresses or nurses or people in professions that run around all day and sweat and do manual labor in stressful situations? I serve a 50s diner by day where i wear a full face of 50s inspired makeup, but by night im going straight to my second job tossing pizza dough and i have to wipe off half my face bcus i dont have time to fix it ): i wish it could last the whole 12 hour day for REAL!
I use maybelline superstay 24hr foundation, but im not sure what powders, setting spray, primers, etc. Will make my look labor proof. Pls tati!!! Make a video for the workin women!!
I usually work 8 hour shifts in a retail environment and keep my makeup on for at least 13-15 hours at a time (woof) I make sure to set my entire face with a good setting powder (I press coty airspun all over with a big fluffy brush) and then after bronzer and blush BEFORE highlight, I spray setting spray (the morphe one is great) all over and press THAT in with the same fluffy brush then I finish my highlight, lower lashline, I put some brow mascara in my brows to keep them set and do another spray of setting spray before mascara It also depends on your foundation and primer, I don't apply primer to my nose and chin (where my foundation rubs off easiest) and opt to put a layer of concealer there instead (I use the conceal and define concealer from makeup revolution) and it helps the staying power. I know that in my own experience, Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra Wear lasts a super long time through heat and sweat, smashbox hydrating foundation is like second to that one and my current one is the new conceal and define foundation from makeup revolution (I'm LIVING for how good it looks after 13-15 hours and its coverage but they need more shades for people to choose from)
AIRSPUN IS THE ABSOLUTELY BEST SETTING POWDER EVERRRR ! It’s super cheap at Walmart and it smells bombbbb😍 It’ll for sure last the whole day and looks like you just applied your foundation . like it better then most high end powders to be real .

Ok Tati.... Here is what I need you to do. You need to film yourself entering your makeup room, going round to all the drawers, show us how you select your look for the day, and then do a demo! I am curious about the process that’s involved from getting makeup that’s in the drawer to putting it on your face. Example: my collection is all at arm’s length; I do not need to stand up to get something. I just sit and think and reach. So, do you sit down at your table, look at yourself for a while, think about what you are going to do and then go to each drawer and compile your products. Or, do you mostly have your everydays already at your table. Or, do you sit down, do some skincare, get up, hunt down a primer, come back, leave to get foundation, come back again, etc etc........ Inquiring minds needs to know the details, girl!

Sometimes i even find something i really like from the drugstore and then will see you wearing it and loving it as well so i know we look for the same qualities in our products which is why when i need to grab something quick, i search your page first, then go into the store and grab it and viola, done! I’m not a fan of the photo focus at all as it emphasized pores and dry patches but the cushion on the other hand.. so bomb for lighter makeup days. I prefer it over any type of B.B. or cc cream as you can control the level of coverage.
The Wet n Wild cushion foundation is definitely my go to daily for work foundation. It's actually great on oily skin, I don't like full coverage and a lot of powder. I can lightly set that and be good for the whole day.

My personal favorites from the drugstore are the Nyx Hot Singles Eyeshadow in the shade "Over the Taupe" as a brow powder (perfect universal taupe/brown shade), L'oreal Brow Stylist Definer, and Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in "Tough as Taupe" used as a pomade. This is my favorite video in a long time! Idk if anyone has ever actually put this much effort in a drugstore products. Drugstore def has been stepping up for a while and I love it because I used to think, that I need to go to sephora or Ulta for a beat face. I have found myself running to target more often for make up nowadays because Sephora and ulta is too far from me. Covergirl has an entire new line with peach punch scented and chocolate scented palettes, blushes, and bronzers! They have the palette on display to swatch at Wal-Mart! The peach punch/choc palettes looks like a mini Too Face peach palette and the Choc bar! There's also a rainbow palette! They look awesome please review them!!!! We need the drugstore queens approval! The peach palette swatches chalky but the choc looks pigmented!(But we all know that swatches are unreliable)

Shelby Bernard what state do you live in? Essence at ulta, fred meyer (try kroger). Flower only at Walmart and online i think. I feel like there was a rumor it went to ulta too. I'm not sure
mari upton flower beauty can be found at ulta but not every ulta carries it, Walmart carries it as well. Essence can also be found at ulta and target and even forever 21.

I just got SO excited seeing the Wet N Wild setting spray!!! I've never owned one before but needed a really small bottle to take on vacation to Florida and that was small enough to go in my carry-on at the airport and only 5 bucks. I wasn't sure how it would chalk up to the big boys so I'm very much relieved to know that I made a good gamble :D yay!!!

Tati I bought the wet n wild photofocus foundation on your advice and I really didn’t like it 😭 I have pretty oily skin and it gave me barely any coverage, really exaggerated my pores and fine lines, stayed super dewy (almost wet) and didn’t dry down, and when I tried to layer it and/or set it with powder it looked SUPER cakey... so sad I had such high hopes. It was a really good shade match on application, but I’m pretty sure it oxidized a lot. I also can’t return it because it’s drugstore 😭😭 So sad but I still love you ❤️ (we probably just have different skin types) I’m going back to my Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless, that’s my holy grail foundation for oily skin!
Helen Patriarche thanks! Everything Tati recommends I love but when it comes to primers, setting sprays, foundation,etc. I take her advice with a grain of salt because I have oily skin and she has combo that has been lately leaning dry
Photofocus did the same thing for me! It just didn't work and I really wanted it to. I'm gonna switch up moisturizers and primer and see if that helps.
Yeah, I finally had to admit defeat and throw away that foundation. I TRIED to like it....several times. But it exaggerated every flaw and just looked awful no matter how I applied it. BTW, my skin isn't really oily except a little in the T-zone when the weather is hot. This makeup looked bad on me, winter and summer. It also happens to be the worst smelling foundation I've ever used. LOL
It sounds like we have very similar skin types haha and yes that smell about knocked me over! I love matte and poreless as well and recently picked up the superstay and it's just as good for me.
I love Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation. It’s been a while since I last fell in love with a foundation. Wet N Wild foundations don’t work for me. I love their other stuff tho.

WW cushion foundation is my go to when I’m traveling or camping and I don’t want to waste time on putting on make up. It’s surprising good coverage!
I’m not a fan of the photo focus at all as it emphasized pores and dry patches but the cushion on the other hand.. so bomb for lighter makeup days. I prefer it over any type of B.B. or cc cream as you can control the level of coverage.

The Wet n Wild cushion foundation is definitely my go to daily for work foundation. It's actually great on oily skin, I don't like full coverage and a lot of powder. I can lightly set that and be good for the whole day.

My personal favorites from the drugstore are the Nyx Hot Singles Eyeshadow in the shade "Over the Taupe" as a brow powder (perfect universal taupe/brown shade), L'oreal Brow Stylist Definer, and Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in "Tough as Taupe" used as a pomade. Tati, I bought two of the L’Oreal chocolate liquid lips the other day. OMG! LONGEST WEARING LIPSTICK! Nothing moves them! Not even putting a lipgloss over! They don’t move! I wore them to a party. I was gone all day long. I still had lipstick on my mouth when I was washing my face! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is my favorite video in a long time! Idk if anyone has ever actually put this much effort in a drugstore products. Drugstore def has been stepping up for a while and I love it because I used to think, that I need to go to sephora or Ulta for a beat face. I have found myself running to target more often for make up nowadays because Sephora and ulta is too far from me. And I never know what to get usually, because everyone on RUclips only uses high end and I feel so lost when I go to the drugstore and idk what works and what doesn’t...I love this. Covergirl has an entire new line with peach punch scented and chocolate scented palettes, blushes, and bronzers! They have the palette on display to swatch at Wal-Mart! The peach punch/choc palettes looks like a mini Too Face peach palette and the Choc bar! There's also a rainbow palette! They look awesome please review them!!!! We need the drugstore queens approval! The peach palette swatches chalky but the choc looks pigmented!(But we all know that swatches are unreliable)

its depends where you live, Ive found essence in Target, Ulta and Forever 21 and Flower I’ve found at Ulta and Walmart :)
mari upton flower beauty can be found at ulta but not every ulta carries it, Walmart carries it as well. Essence can also be found at ulta and target and even forever 21.

I just got SO excited seeing the Wet N Wild setting spray!!! I've never owned one before but needed a really small bottle to take on vacation to Florida and that was small enough to go in my carry-on at the airport and only 5 bucks. I wasn't sure how it would chalk up to the big boys so I'm very much relieved to know that I made a good gamble :D yay!!!

Tati I bought the wet n wild photofocus foundation on your advice and I really didn’t like it 😭 I have pretty oily skin and it gave me barely any coverage, really exaggerated my pores and fine lines, stayed super dewy (almost wet) and didn’t dry down, and when I tried to layer it and/or set it with powder it looked SUPER cakey... so sad I had such high hopes. It was a really good shade match on application, but I’m pretty sure it oxidized a lot. I also can’t return it because it’s drugstore 😭😭 So sad but I still love you ❤️ (we probably just have different skin types) I’m going back to my Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless, that’s my holy grail foundation for oily skin!
Helen Patriarche thanks! Everything Tati recommends I love but when it comes to primers, setting sprays, foundation,etc. I take her advice with a grain of salt because I have oily skin and she has combo that has been lately leaning dry
Photofocus did the same thing for me! It just didn't work and I really wanted it to. I'm gonna switch up moisturizers and primer and see if that helps.
Yeah, I finally had to admit defeat and throw away that foundation. I TRIED to like it....several times.
But it exaggerated every flaw and just looked awful no matter how I applied it.
BTW, my skin isn't really oily except a little in the T-zone when the weather is hot. This makeup looked bad on me, winter and summer.
It also happens to be the worst smelling foundation I've ever used. LOL
It sounds like we have very similar skin types haha and yes that smell about knocked me over! I love matte and poreless as well and recently picked up the superstay and it's just as good for me.
I love Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation. It’s been a while since I last fell in love with a foundation. Wet N Wild foundations don’t work for me. I love their other stuff tho.
