Covergirl blushes are very nostalgic for me. My grandma used them all the time. She never left the house without makeup on, no matter where she went. She lived with my mom, sister, and I from when I was 3 until she passed when I was 15. When I was in my early 20s, I remember walking through the make-up section in walmart and had the sudden feeling that my grandma was there. I swore I could smell her. I was acting like a crazy person sniffing around the makeup until I landed on the covergirl blushes. They are so timeless to me and will forever be my favorite.
Blythe Hughes Grandmas are so special. Mine passed in 2003. There have been thousands of times over the years, that I wished I could call her and just ask her opinion on something (she was so wise!), or share something with her. I encourage my kids to appreciate and cherish their Grandparents 💜❤️.

Never feel bad about budget makeup!! Yes there are some good high brand items, but there are also good quality drugstore brands that do just as well. You don't have to pay high dollar to feel your best :)
There is absolutely no shame in buying affordable makeup and don't let anyone ever make you feel that way! I own several of the wet and wild palettes and I absolutely love them, they are even better than some of the high-end Shadows that I own. No matter where we come from in life, no matter what our beginnings are, we decide Who We Are. Big hugs out to you.
I was browsing at the dollar tree the other day (in the makeup section of course lol) and came across a beautiful sparkly gloss, it's by l.a. colors and the shade is "pink." It caught my eye bc of how packed it was with glitter! I bought it thinking it wasn't gonna be anything special but OMG! It applies like a dream. It's pink in the tube but goes on very sheer. It feels like a gel, like a "fluffy" gel if that makes sense. Not heavy or anything. It's not sticky AT ALL and smells like bubblegum. The formula is very smooth and not gritty. The glitter disperses perfectly, it reflects as u move ur head around. This performs great. Thought I should let u guys know. For a buck, holy cow man ❤

Yes please full face BH Cosmetics!!!! I haven’t tried too much from there, but I really like the foundation, the brow pencil I got doesn’t budge, and the eyeshadows are gorgeous. The only thing I’ve had an issue with was an eyeshadow primer that was discontinued. It ended up being shimmery and I hated that. Someone told me that the shimmer goes away after you apply shadow, but it just made a shimmery mess.

Tatiii a TARTUFO is a super delicious and luxurious food. yes it kind of is a fungus, it's almost like a ball shaped root, there are special dogs trained to find them under the ground and they're very expensive because they're rare. you would usually grate it over food like risotto or pasta, or even eggs. it has a very strong taste, not everyone likes it, but I do. The dessert has nothing to do with the tartufo as an ingredient, it's kind of an icecream with the an inside layer of cream icecream and the outside layer is chocolate/coffee, so it looks like the shape of the tartufo, but it's icecream.
Exactly! The Italian tartufo dessert is one of my favorites but I haven't been able to find it in years. The little Italian desert Bistro I used to go to closed down sadly.

Let me tell you girls of a great buy! $2.97 at Walmart, Covergirls eyeshadow 710 Champagne! It's amazing! I even use it as a highlighter! It's better than my $40 highlighter and eyeshadows! i've seriously bought so many other products to replace it and I can't find anything as good especially for the price! The L.A. Color eye shadow duos are amazing! so pigmented and shimmery! I'm not sure how much they are in the states, but I think they are less than $3 Some color duos are amazing and work so well together, and the peach shade from the Allure duo is like my favorite thing in the world. Like I gotta swatch it every once in a while just to see how gorgeous it is. And that shade also looks amazing like just all over the lid and done!

maybe for daily use only a tinted daycream and some little strokes of airbrush concealer for the face. softly taped in with the fingers should give good results and last a long time, even if it costs a little more. then you can stretch your foundation for days or evenings only, when you want a more bold look. that is how I did it, when I had to watch my spendings. I think, it is not so good for the skin anyways to have foundation that often. but if one bottle should last you quite some time, because you wont use it up quickly, you might have to go with something, that costs more than 5-10,-. you should then look our, if they last longer than 6 month, after starting to use them. often it still pays. better than buying a 5-10,- product every month or every other month.
I have also yet to find a foundation i love on me. I think i just dont like foundation and ive stopped forcing my self to find one right now i conceal dark circles and any spots or marks and call it a day and i find that much better for everyday use
Maybelline fit me matte and poreless, loreal infallible both the pro glow and the pro mat are great, if you want one that performs high-end but doesn't break the bank the Physicians Formula the healthy Foundation is great for a medium coverage luminescence with SPF 20. I know a lot of people really enjoy the Wet and Wild photofocus to me it's pretty good, just not a fav. My personal daily favorite is the Covergirl clean matte foundation, and the ready set gorgeous are both great everyday foundations and all are affordable. Hope that helps :)
I love my covergirl single shade blush, the brush is in the bin immediately, but my skin tone NEEDS their classic pink. It just works so darn well for me, I've tried sooo many others, but that one single CG blush never fails me. * This is a compliment, please take it as such* Is it what goes around comes around but with better formulations? Like less chalky, more smooth, but if I sent you a picture of me in 1985, these are the colors. Then the 90s and how many nude brown eyeshadows with liner and a bold red-wine-black cherry lip can you have? It's so wonderful to see bold, bright colors on the eyes again. When I was 17, my pale blonde cool tones self loved a bright berry on the eye, and a primary yellow with copper. Make up and xl thing was more fun then. There were no hard set rules unless you subscribed to teen mags other than Sassy. You just used decent enough technique in application, the rest was just up to you. Yes, the olden days, a simpler time, a more free time, but some great looks came out of the non-judgmental freedom to just play. Make-up is paint for your face, be an artist. Their were certain magazine looks, but if you roamed off the border of the glossy mag photos you could try and get away with, and get copied by friends with anything. No Fear.
THOSE WET AND WILD LIP LINERS ARE MY HOLY GRAIL!! LIterally the most comfortable and creamy liner. Just glides on and is so nice on the lips. I wish they would come out with like a jumbo pencil with that formula that would be easy to use like a lipstick. Bare to Comment is my perfect browny nude color, I’ve probably gone through about 6 of them and I’m obsessed!!
been using the wet and wild lip liner for months now. it does hold up in the long run, at least in my experience. no breakage, no snap off. it's so wonderful.

As a young girl I got so excited when the Avon lady came to the door with all the samples and make up. I love the Kiss lashes in "Corset"!!!! 😍 My favorite brow products are the Nyx brow pencil with the spooly on the end. I also like l'oreal's version of that one too. :) The Katy Kat matte lipsticks by CoverGirl are okay. I personally think the best shade is sphynx. Another under rated product is the Elf pressed highlighters. They're big and so beautiful!! Perfect for days you want either a subtle or a bright highlight! Its buildable and that's one of the reasons I like it too!
I don't know why product reviewers always complain about not having a mirror with a product. It is unnecessary packaging, causes more waste when you are done with the product and most people have a mirror SOMEWHERE already.
I love those ColorLast polishes. I think I have most of the collection 😆 My fav product under $5 right now is LA Colors Strobing Illuminating Powder in the shade Flashing Pink. I LOVE IT! I use it underneath my blush bc it does have a chalky white cast that I want to cover up, but under blush, that gorgeous subtle pink comes through. It’s not chunky or glittery, very fine and pretty and natural 💗
I'm pretty sure the Hard Candy gloss is $6 before tax. I believe the title is a little misleading. If you noticed the Catrice primer was priced as $6.99.

The L.A. Color eye shadow duos are amazing! so pigmented and shimmery! I'm not sure how much they are in the states, but I think they are less than $3 Some color duos are amazing and work so well together, and the peach shade from the Allure duo is like my favorite thing in the world. Like I gotta swatch it every once in a while just to see how gorgeous it is. And that shade also looks amazing like just all over the lid and done!

The liquid liner is a crazy fantastic formula but hard to apply. I use it on an elf angles brush and it lasts forever and goes over glitter easily

I know it’s a STRETCH...but foundation? 😅 I hate foundation and every time I splurge I hate it! I’d love to hear your cheaper faves you can stand by?
maybe for daily use only a tinted daycream and some little strokes of airbrush concealer for the face. softly taped in with the fingers should give good results and last a long time, even if it costs a little more. then you can stretch your foundation for days or evenings only, when you want a more bold look. that is how I did it, when I had to watch my spendings. I think, it is not so good for the skin anyways to have foundation that often. but if one bottle should last you quite some time, because you wont use it up quickly, you might have to go with something, that costs more than 5-10,-. you should then look our, if they last longer than 6 month, after starting to use them. often it still pays. better than buying a 5-10,- product every month or every other month.

I have also yet to find a foundation i love on me. I think i just dont like foundation and ive stopped forcing my self to find one right now i conceal dark circles and any spots or marks and call it a day and i find that much better for everyday use
Maybelline fit me matte and poreless, loreal infallible both the pro glow and the pro mat are great, if you want one that performs high-end but doesn't break the bank the Physicians Formula the healthy Foundation is great for a medium coverage luminescence with SPF 20. I know a lot of people really enjoy the Wet and Wild photofocus to me it's pretty good, just not a fav. My personal daily favorite is the Covergirl clean matte foundation, and the ready set gorgeous are both great everyday foundations and all are affordable. Hope that helps :)
I love my covergirl single shade blush, the brush is in the bin immediately, but my skin tone NEEDS their classic pink. It just works so darn well for me, I've tried sooo many others, but that one single CG blush never fails me. * This is a compliment, please take it as such* Is it what goes around comes around but with better formulations? Like less chalky, more smooth, but if I sent you a picture of me in 1985, these are the colors. Then the 90s and how many nude brown eyeshadows with liner and a bold red-wine-black cherry lip can you have? It's so wonderful to see bold, bright colors on the eyes again. When I was 17, my pale blonde cool tones self loved a bright berry on the eye, and a primary yellow with copper. Make up and xl thing was more fun then. There were no hard set rules unless you subscribed to teen mags other than Sassy. You just used decent enough technique in application, the rest was just up to you. Yes, the olden days, a simpler time, a more free time, but some great looks came out of the non-judgmental freedom to just play. Make-up is paint for your face, be an artist. Their were certain magazine looks, but if you roamed off the border of the glossy mag photos you could try and get away with, and get copied by friends with anything. No Fear.

THOSE WET AND WILD LIP LINERS ARE MY HOLY GRAIL!! LIterally the most comfortable and creamy liner. Just glides on and is so nice on the lips. I wish they would come out with like a jumbo pencil with that formula that would be easy to use like a lipstick. Bare to Comment is my perfect browny nude color, I’ve probably gone through about 6 of them and I’m obsessed!!

I love the Kiss lashes in "Corset"!!!! 😍 My favorite brow products are the Nyx brow pencil with the spooly on the end. I also like l'oreal's version of that one too. :) The Katy Kat matte lipsticks by CoverGirl are okay. I personally think the best shade is sphynx. Another under rated product is the Elf pressed highlighters. They're big and so beautiful!! Perfect for days you want either a subtle or a bright highlight! Its buildable and that's one of the reasons I like it too!

I don't know why product reviewers always complain about not having a mirror with a product. It is unnecessary packaging, causes more waste when you are done with the product and most people have a mirror SOMEWHERE already.

My fav product under $5 right now is LA Colors Strobing Illuminating Powder in the shade Flashing Pink. I LOVE IT! I use it underneath my blush bc it does have a chalky white cast that I want to cover up, but under blush, that gorgeous subtle pink comes through. It’s not chunky or glittery, very fine and pretty and natural 💗

Who else noticed that first product came up on screen at $6? Is that with tax or is it like 5.99 cause 4.99 is under $5.
I'm pretty sure the Hard Candy gloss is $6 before tax. I believe the title is a little misleading. If you noticed the Catrice primer was priced as $6.99.
Some shades are $5 or less and some are $6 (Tartufo, for example, is $6)
But, in the description she lists it as $5. I'm pretty sure hard candy doesn't have anything under $6 though. Glad I'm not the only 1 that caught it
