@@HardCoreLegoFan I have no idea why it got so much hate. I’m someone who absolutely hates the sequels and most of the new shows but I really liked solo and rewatch it the most out of all the Star Wars films other than the empire strikes back
the republic trooper battle was actually my first ever lego star wars set and I think this is a pretty underrated set . You can also mention the resistance escape pod that is completly forgotten
Another forgotten set from the Solo line is the 75207 Imperial Patrol Battle Pack. The speeder is practically perfect for it's scale. No parts wasted, not oversized. With the patrol troopers it's good for well, patrolling the perimeter of any urban style mocs, and the 2 officers are also welcome for moc builders. I'm in the minority who thinks, battle packs are not just for army builders. It's for kids, casual Lego fans, people on a budget, and for impulse buyers too. It doesn't hurt if you get some interesting looking characters from time to time. "Ki-Adi-Mundi battle pack" is a prime example. You just can't miss buying it, because you know, you won't get another chance for having Ki-Adi-Mundi or Barriss Offee in the next 10 or 20 years. In an ideal world named characters would rarely appear in these. No more than one battle pack/year. In microfighters though, they are very welcome.
Death Star escape was the set that got me back into lego star wars after many years and will always be in a special place for me even if it isn't my favourite
Being a Lego rebel army builder is pain since I only got back into Lego since 2023. The 2010's w/ the Rebels cartoon, Rogue One, and that decade's OT anniversaries were in hindsigjt an absolute DREAM if you loved the Rebel Alliance. The rebel army ive been able to make so far has basically cost me likely over $2000 whereas the Clones or Empire can get you a substantially larger army w/ more vehicles at that same price 💀
The reason they don’t make the Mini figure packs is because selling only figures with no builds infringes on Hasbro’s right to make Star Wars action figures, this is also why there’s no Star Wars CMF
But polybags. The problem is that minifigures sell sets, especially remakes, in the star wars theme and the anniversary figures are clear indicators of this.
I got Han Solos Landspeeder at the time it was released and I remember the build being extremely awesome, but it is definitely one of the least memorable 30 dollar pricetag sets of Lego Star Wars, and like you said came out in one of the roughest years ever for Lego Star Wars sets, being 2018. The Solo Millennium Falcon and TIE Fighter, as well as the Imperial train with the range troopers are really the only favored Solo sets while all the other ones were completely forgotten about, since nobody really liked or cared about Solo after the Last Jedi came out. But it does feel kind of funny to me that whenever I look at it I'm like "Oh Hans actually got a Landspeeder just like Luke!" The Republic of vs Sith Troopers pack is actually I think a bit underrated, considering that it came out during a golden age of Lego Star Wars during 2013. Its actually one of my favorite battle packs in my collection, as I do love the Republic Troopers looking very much like clones, and I do say, the Sith Troopers are menacing. It's so dumb that the ones from the old Republic and the Rise of Skywalker both share the "Sith Trooper" name.
@@kbirdydaboiii the republic troopers vs sith troopers is one of the most underrated set from this era, I think it got overshadowed by prequels and original triology because its more famous and they did not appeared on screen
In my opinion, another pretty good Lego Star Wars set is the inferno squad battle pack. People either have forgotten about it or hated/dislike this as it had named characters and a game that no one really played, which was battlefront and they think that it did not need a set. However, I think that this is one of if not the first Lego that was set that I was desperate to get and he’s still one of my faves.
0:46 Bro, how is it that this old ass B1 commander droid is a better mini-fig model than the modern ones by a mile? Lego should be ashamed of themselves… 😕🫤
I think that one of the most forgotten and or hated/disliked sets is the infinite squad battle 19, which people don’t like, but he’s one of my favorite Wauer sets in the first one that I can remember desperately wanting.
The reason Lego can’t do the minute packs is because of has to having the license to Star Wars action figures and minifigure packs fit under that I think
Lego legally can’t sell just Star Wars mini figs, because hasbro has the exclusive license to make Star Wars action figures. That’s why the sets got pulled after only a few months
I got the Han Solo landspeeder, I could have picked between that set and the sarlaac pit and skiff from that time. I still wish I picked the sarlaac pit and skiff, but I love the torso and legs on the Han and quira
The only one of these I have/had was the AT-AP. It had some issues but I still liked it. I might have it built somewhere still... I agree about the figure sets too. It's strange to me that LEGO wouldn't want to capitalize on interest in minifigs. Maybe they think it's more cost effective to keep desirable figures within expensive sets. I'm with you though, I think they could make a killing off of selling figure collections.
Nah the old republic battle pack was goated I’ll never forget those, mainly because back in the day I used all my monthly pocket money for month to buy as many as possible I had like 20😭
I'm not sure if this set was included in a previous video (sorry if it was) but Lego set 4478 Geonosian Fighter from 2003 is SO underrated!!! Do y'all think it's underrated or not? 🤔
yeah bro I don't think these sets are forgotten. Like I never heard of the UCS venator or the cloud city until 16 december 2024 4pm 54min and 35 sec so this video is invalid
The entire Solo line up be like:

I love the Solo sub theme. They did such great work on those sets. I’ve not forgotten them. I also agree Star Wars should do Minifigs packs.
4:02 Love this set! It was actually my first Star Wars-themed LEGO set. I really enjoyed it when I got it for my seventh birthday
Same, one of my first sets, the orange trooper's helmets never stay on anymore 😅
I have this set too and I'm glad I have it. Minifigures are the highlight of this set

Indeed XD

I actually love the solo line. The tie fighter, millennium falcon, at hauler and the imperial conveyex transport are actually some really cool sets

Nah, that's just an internet rumor. If Lego wasn't allowed to, they couldn't have made those packs in the first place.
Why do polybag figures and buildable characters exist then?
The 2016 Homing Spider droid might just be the most existent Lego Star Wars set ever.
“Oh yeah, they did make one in 2016”
Do u get the January sets early, great vids
Great video. Please, can you rank every battle pack build?
Cad Bane is a duros.
I have the Death Star Escape set and I forget it exists so much. I’ll probably forget about it in a few hours lol.
I have that one set in the thumbnail and I think the old republic troopers and the sith troopers a underrated 04:02

Yoooo can you make a list of ‘modern’ sets (maybe 2016-onward) that have aged the worst? Feel like it could be a fun idea

cab you make a video about some sets we need to get like for example a new turbo tank
