I didn’t even know they call him IRON MAN. That sure fits him. If i get to play 3 times a week, my body would break. IF you golfers every see paramedics on a golf course, it could be for me. LOL. Great great player. Keep showcasing your talent Iron Man. Rooting for you.

Really love the animation, well done with this video PGA! Obviously loved learning about Sungjae's background as well. What really impresses me most about Sungjae is his composure at such a young age. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins a major one of these days.

I just hope he doesn't feel pressure to keep playing 75%+ of tournaments each year. I can see how he could feel bad in a way if he "gives up" the nickname of Iron Man, which he clearly takes pride in and rightfully so imo.
But I can't imagine it's GTO to play such a heavy schedule, even at the young age of 23.

What about the Korean Military service, does he get exemption?
He still 23 y.o. As an athlete, he'll get exemption only if he wins gold medal (major tournament) before the age limit. (28 y.o if im not worng)

Yes it's a bummer that will stunt his game. Seung Yul Noh was a PGA tour winner prior to service, now he can't even keep his card.

I hope mandatory military service doesn't ruin this man's career like Seung Yul Noh. Same with Si Woo. KH Lee is military exempt and playing strong golf as he enters his prime. Kevin Na $$$. Not sure why they are not playing in Korea for CJ cup this weekend if LPGA is playing there next weekend
