My home, my state, sent her to Congress. Those who see this amazing woman as an antisemitic, dont understand the meaning behind the word. She is not. Fighting for a two-state solution is not antisemitism. Calling out an Israel lobby such as AIPAC is not anti-Semitic any more than condemning the Saudis for their wars is anti-Muslim. If I call out the NRA does that make me anti-old-white-guy? I am pro-Israel. My daughter is studying at the University of Tel Aviv and is an Israeli citizen (and a US and Canadian citizen) and her name is Shoshana. Omar is right but does have an aggressive way of wording her position at times. I do not agree with her on every detail but I respect her and her position of debating U.S. policy toward Israel. That is fair. We send millions of dollars a day to Israel which has universal healthcare yet we cannot afford it? This is a legitimate debate.
