Disclaimer I do believe the parking lot will be more than the one section shown
There's a section of the parking lot missing. In the top left of the parking lot photo is currently construction trailers that will be moved soon and the parking lot expands into there. As far as a parking garage goes, well that's rumored to be in a phase 2 thing. Parking garages is very expensive so there wasn't enough money to build them in this phase, plus they wouldn't be where the current parking lot is as that is slated as land for a 2nd park to be possibly built at a much later date.
Plus there will be people coming from the existing park as well, like from their existing resort hotels so they'd be bussed in. We can't assume everyone coming to Epic will be coming in their own vehicle. This is why part of the Kirkman Rd Extension is a dedicated bus lane for Universal buses between the CityWalk and Epic Universe.
There won't be an Epic Universe sign at the entry of the property. There will instead be an updated Universal Orlando Resort sign which I would also assume would make its way to the current Universal property. Epic Universe is part of Universal Orlando so it makes sense.
The park will eventually have a parking garage. Think of when this park opens it will almost still be in beta phase. I guarantee Universal is already planning phase 2 & 3 expansions. Who knows when the park will actually be “fully” complete. Might not be for 20-30 years.

Flat parking sucks nothing worst then sweating all day and having to walk back tot he car in 98 degrees weather with he asphalt is around 110 plus

Rumor for the parking lot is it will turn into a parking garage when they open the possible 4th park and 2nd city walk. But who knows
Only problem with that is they’d have to close the parking lot temporarily or build the new lot somewhere else or something without hindering Epics daily attendance
Either way it will be a mess when and if they do it
Is it likely a parking garage is built in the future to free up some land and/or to increase capacity when future gates open?
Maybe we shall see. I don’t believe the parking lot will be that small though
The flat parking lot is gonna be a chellenge especially on opening day. Wouldve been better if they couldve added the garage, the entrance is looking amazing so far!!

I think the anual pass question will be super interesting to see. I personally think that we won’t see anual passes included right away. However similar to HHN discounted tickets and maybe a couple free days may be offered in addition to passholder previews. I would guess anual passes will be offered toward the end of summer/ into fall 2025. But these will definitely be a large increase in price.
