Think about it if you were your idol... It's just weird. That man wasted 20 minutes in which he could have tried to act like a good fan, reporter, and man. He went delusional...
You can tell James get annoyed with fans that take things over the top when they meet him and put him on a pedestal. It's also one of the reasons (according to James himself) that made him resent Jason a bit more when he joined the band: "Jason was a huge fan of the band when he joined, it got annoying and that didn't help." Mr Hetfield, whether you like it or not, you are a FUCKING LEGEND.
This guy was a nervous wreck! On the other hand, to me it seems like James is being real and thinking about his answers rather than responding to the "same" type questions he's likely always asked.
