Don't worry guys I'm sure they'll include automated TSA yelling at 5 am for the full immersive experience. "Take your laptops and E-lectronics out of your bag! If you got a hoodie on ..TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF!"
now they scream at you for taking your laptop out😂
SHOES OFFFFF!
Your future TSA Employee will be talking to you in the camera from India or Philippine
Allo? Awe u Der sur? Please speak up az da line is bad 😅
Thousands just walking across the border no checking or screening.
It is weird how when you fly they check your documents and the reason for your entry into the US and how long you’ll be staying etc.. but if you cross the southern border there’s nothing.
@@rsvpevents6780thats just not a valid premise
@rsvpevents6780 your Orange mustache is showing...
If you really think its that easy, you should cross the border illegally yourself! Instead you mouth breath infront of a screen thats feeding you propaganda you willingly believe.
What does TSA have to do with the border?🤦🏽♂️
I think you mean "cutting out the human that needs to be paid".
This has nothing to do with security......... congratulations youve just voluntarily had a complete body scan to be stored into the "facial recognition " data base.
The devices shown in this video have nothing to do with facial recognition. But if you have a passport, congrats you already are in a facial recognition database, how do you think a automated passport gate works, it needs something to compare your face with.
They’re not taking a picture of your face they’re scanning your body. Just like when you get an MRI it result in an image of your face.
Sounds like TSA wants to work from home.
Always gonna be the slow person that gonna keep setting the detector off smh
I have an idea Just get rid of the TSA
Here we go, time savers. Time savers equal disasters.
Just like Dementia Joe’s time savings at the border. I had to wait 2 months and drive 100 miles to get a passport.
-Waiting On *Total Recall* Level Of Scanning 😅
Other countries have had these for years!
What? Those are in use in Europe for years now...
Good you use Malaysia innovation,we have it 8 years maybe with this machine
Wow, finally the TSA is finally testing security technology that been in use in the rest of the world sinds 2007. Schiphol Amsterdam airport was the first to adopt this 16 years ago. I would suggest the people from TSA to travel to one of the many countries where it already is rolled out for decades and see how it’s used.
Precheck - for a PRICE ~ imagine if Grocery stores also began charging you to bag your own purchases ! ludicrous
Well… some charge for the bags you use.
Precheck is an optional convenience, it's not a requirement. Just helps those of us with it move through security much faster.
@@mattypants ...and your point? the OPTION IS NOT FREE ! derp^
Pre-Check is free. There is an $85 fee to perform a background check, but the program is free. Almost all airline credit cards also over that fee.
If you're paying anything else, you're being scammed.
@@macsh6434 ...um, did you just listen to what you just said? free ...but $85 fee is not...the ...definition ...of ... FREE !
Need this at the border
Can’t wait for this to be put to test during holiday season….
Contraband gets by every day - simple.
Only for law abiding citizens. Illegals need not wait in line for this.
I hope they will not charge us another $20 bucks to go to automated line
They don't charge anything now, security at the airport doesn't cost anything.
@@mattypantsya it’s 30% of your paycheck
Self checkout for tsa is the worse idea ever lol
TSA is the worst idea ever
Almost "Total Recall".
Aye, this is going to be great for the Texan/Mexican border!
This gonna give many people cancer
The only real difference I saw is the TSA has to do even less work. I think that's what this is all about.
No. It's about hiring less people. Saving more money over time
Europeans: "Should we tell them we do this for years and have automated self immigration, too?"
So a body-scanner with doors… incredible. 😒
Huh? That’s new in the US? We’ve had this for years in Europe smh 🤦♀️
We need this at the south mexico borders
Self checkout didn’t work. They brought back cashier. Always try to replace worker but it fails miserably. Consumers must always pay more with less assistance. It’s also a security risk.
I would say the opposite - cashiers are disappearing pretty quickly.
For one, self checkouts never eliminated cashiers or jobs, they shifted the jobs around. Second, self checkouts are growing and being used more. The largest grocery store chain in my area just made every single register self checkout capable. Now each lane can be either manned or self, it's fantastic. Most importantly, these are very secure. The doors into the airport don't open if there's something detected.
awful interviewers/reporters. only asking leading questions and probably cherrypicking responses that fit the narrative.
I don't fly . But do they screen for crazy karens.😂
Only they have been testing a version of this for 20 years. Qhen the say that they will decide if it go to an airport, I say this, I will believe it when I see it.
Oh boy. The “automated” machines they have now are horrible. Not having human element in security is a mistake. As a weekly flyer, this is going to slow security down and make life miserable in the airport.
Technology always must be working
If the economy so bad how do you have a record-breaking spring break travel I wonder I found that interesting
Um this is already a thing in the usa. I've been through one last year in Missouri....
Tsa employees should not be considered human 🙄
They shouldn’t? Why?
Look up tsa abuses special needs girl
Trump just lost a vote somewhere
@supermman91 democrats would approve of the abuse of special need children.
It locks you in the box!
How is this faster than a TSA waving a wand over your body???
These are pretty cool. Looking forward to them being used. Now if we can also uodate customs to the facial recognition systems other countries are already using.
It will work if traveler ticket is linked to the tray.
Great technology
Finally no more annoying tsa employees
TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF SIR!
Looks like a grate idea
All you have to do is identify as illegal and they will reply, I'm sorry please excuse us go ahead no problem.
MAYBE CHECK THE ILLEGALS COMING INTO THE COUNTRY LIKE YOU CHECK US AIR PASSENGERS
Total Recall
How much bad stuff does this actually catch?
6 percent yet airlines are struggling makes a lot of sense
🎯Bad automation process. You place personal belongings on belt and you are far away from items? Do you know how many people can steal your stuff?
Global Entry renewal is taking forever,,,
Why would you do this... If you claim you are an illegal not only will you get free travel they dont patt you dont if you let it be known you dont want to be nor do they want to see your passport oe plane ticket...
IDENTIFY AS ILLEGAL
You've definitely identified as a non native English speaker. Must be one of those scary illegals all the Republicans tell us about...
This is untrue
so more stolen or lost items at the check points? finally!
I like to thank Ben sliney for this idea .
Oh what would we do if there were no imaginary threats? 😂
This is already being used in other parts of the world. Idk y they acting as though this is new tech
That’s way too slow.
It's sad that we all have to be probed and violated like criminals because of a group of individuals that want to inflict death and destruction upon innocent individuals.
You're hardly being violated. You stand in a box for 3 seconds and keep on moving. You rarely even take your shoes off anymore if they're using the dogs. You act like you're being cavity searched.
Haha how long before it gets hacked 🤣
Total Recall we have arrived.
Those machines are like ten years old.
@@capitalb5889 Really?
@@nottobebelieved8608 the body scanner was in UK airports from 2013 and plenty of people made the total recall movie reference at the time.
@@capitalb5889 So you have decided I can't? Controlling much?
@@nottobebelieved8608 you can't what? 🤔
Give it 10 years and A.I. will be the security checkpoint. More loss jobs. This is just the beginning.
Good
Computers don't make mistakes... we hear this stupid argument every time technology advances to make life easier. "But the jobs" ! Less $17/hrs jobs for people telling me to take off my belt and more $40/hrs jobs programing body scanners. Seems like a nice trade.
Why are there double doors on this thing????
So they can lock you in there lol
So you can't pass thru if you do have metal
Cause the average American is a bit heavier and doesn’t fit through a single door.
What happens if you have a mental implant
You are supposed to tell TSA about it before you go into metal detectors
You still go into the scanner because it doesn’t detect metal inside your body. You can’t go through the metal detector in Precheck because it will alarm you
Why not use EVLV ? Those checkpoints are extremely quick .
TSA is worthless
Hello
and when the evil horrible thing of horrible evil they are, become even more capable from ruin
Bwi
And the American border..............😅
Hasn't this always existed? Or am I missing something?
Yes, but not this advanced
No, it has not existed before.
Yeah but you put your arms down this time 😃
@@RaymondHngI can't see anything that's new here, at least not from a technology perspective.
@@capitalb5889 What is being tested is remote TSA employees.
You do realise that machine exposes the human body to extreme doses of radiation??
proof?
So do X-Rays and dentist visits...it's really not that much
@@co-null5599 >So do X-Rays
So they didn't scan you every week. Do they? (Unless you are on the edge of death offcause).
You forgot to mention the earth was flat and chocolate milk comes from brown cows... the body scanners give you a 0.1 microsievert dose of radiation, a standard medical xray is 100+. In a 6hr flight you're exposed to about 12 microsieverts FYI.
Let's simplify this for you. A "high" dose of radiation is 50 rem. There are 0.00001 rem per scan in an airport scanner. That means in order to as you say get an "extreme" dose, you have to get scanned 500,000 times.
If you get scanned at an airport twice a day every single day of the year starting at birth, you would have to live to be 685yrs old in order for these machines to give you a "high" dose. You'll be fine
Your phone releases more radiation than than the body scanner does. You are in the scanner for a maximum 5 seconds. You are on your phone every day for hours. And you’re complaining about the radiation from the scanner you use once a year? Really?
