      Even being face to face with people and making direct eye contact I ask them REPEATEDLY if they have any other electronics in their bag (4-5 times ) before I send their bag down through the X-ray and can you guess how many times they forget about their iPad/tablet/secondary screen/laptop/speakers/game console? In a sample of 100 people I have to pull the bag at least 10 times. That's the average. If the average people would read the signs in the que along the way, or just listen things would be smoother. (I haven't even mentioned anything about the prohibited items, and the number of those we catch daily would shock you)

      Once people know how to use it, it should go faster, since they can have more lines open with less staffing.

  • @trashnomore5759
    @trashnomore5759 4 месяца назад

    There three reasons why I believe that having self-service TSA screenings in airports isn't right. One, the user could become easily frustrated by the sensors and beeping from not doing what the machines want. Two, having TSA agents screen each user, and always there would ensure that those who are doing something illegal can be pulled aside and checked further just through looking at how a person acts, which is something that is hard for a machine to read. Three, someone without any luggage could place a disposable pen in a tray and use that to pass through the screening without being searched further, which could put air travel across the United States at risk. Through experience all of the TSA agents who have screened me did there job, where tough yet nice, made sure that everything ran quickly, and that I didn't have anything that wasn't allowed on a plane.
