This episode is everything that I am looking for in a wine channel. It is unpretentious, chock full of history, and has phenomenal production value. I saw Konstantin Baum recommended your channel, and I am very grateful that he did. Props to both channels for working together to bring the community together. Please keep up these class videos; I'm here for it!
Hey! Thank you so much! That's exactly what we intended - so happy to know you're picking up what we're putting down! KB is a brilliant sport, and a brilliant creator - we have a tonne of respect for everything he does :)
Lads that just hyped me the f**k up! Henry’s dad got it bang on - people dont drink grange enough, just cellar it never finding the perfect occasion for it. Lachy, that editing is next level
Still crazy to me that wine channels put out high prod value, good videos but have low subscribers! Let's go! I tried both the standard Shiraz+Cab blend and the Cali Cab Penfolds this year, was pretty pleased with both - somehow the AZ producer has made a beautiful and more less dark Cab than the others in California
It's crazy for us too - but folks like yourself keep us going - thanks so much for noticing, it can be a bit of a bubble we film & edit in sometimes - so hearing it from you makes all the difference! Cali Penfolds Cabernet review is coming!
Amazing step in production of your show - loving the blind wines and at first thought oh no its not a new blind wine, but amazing distillation of the journey of Grange. Keep it up guys your rocking it!!
Fantastic production Edit: Wait, Penfolds has NFTs? Actually, makes sense considering that grange is largely enjoyed by people with more money than brains...
Awesome episode. Really brilliant. You should do another one but focused on Maurice O’Shea given his impact on wine making in Aus and the 23s look absolutely golden
Guys, this is like an ad for penfolds. Your general vibe is cool. If you could just do independent authentic reviews that would be great. Checkout guys like Baum & his comments re paid associations with vinters. Cheers, Jeremy
Hey hey Jeremy! Thanks so much for the feedback! Not too sure if this was the video you were looking for - this is a mini doco on the story behind the bottle, not a review! No money exchanged hands for this - we chose to do it, because it's a compelling story that not many people know about! Would you have any bottles of wine you'd like us to do some deep-dive research into?
@@wineforthepeople thanks so much. Yeah that was the video. Thanks for clarifying the intent 🙂. It is a bit out of left feild but Peter Jorgenson wines. Available on grays. My friends & I LOVE his wines & they are ridiculous value. If you get your subscribers on to this vintner they’ll be sending u xmas cards for years to come! 🙂🍷 I have no association or commercial interest in PJ wines, they are just amazing btw

I love how Henry's parents are randomly in the video hahaha. Good to see the old man!
Haha! A subtle in-joke. How good though?!

I don't know much about Australian wine, but Penfolds is the name I recognize. Very informative video, guys. Well done.
Thanks so much Eric! You're the best!

Very cool fellas, loved that video.
It’s as close as I’ll ever get to drinking it 🤣🤣
Haha! If you keep in the industry long enough - you'll definitely increase your odds of trying it at some point!
Great production, with snappy style and substance 👏🏻 Can’t bring myself (or my wallet) to go beyond the 389 tho!
Well done!
Thanks so much JP!
Henry's parents make this episode even better. Please provide them with more wine to induce them back on for more episodes.
Haha it was certainly a cheeky little Easter Egg huh?
A legend in winemaking!
A true legend, that's for sure!
Love it ❤️🍷
Cheers Harry! ❤️
oooh production
Haha we had a lot of fun with this Marcus!
Adapt and innovate… zero zero grange incoming!
Haha! If only...although they did make a Natural Pinot Noir from the Hills back in 2005 - no kidding.

Interesting! Any interesting stories behind any of Peter's bottles?
Does not focus on terrior but on quality fruit. Wait, quality fruit also has to do with terrior. That was a little weird i guess
Hmm kinda - what if you grabbed quality fruit from great terroirs and blended them?
Love this, just tone down the editing please! Detracts away from the brilliant substance of the video
They don't have China? Benfu is still going strong mate
Haha! Looks like it's back again!
