I love everything about this. Your support for your wife and her hobbies and her joy in redoing pieces is so special. She is very talented. The change up in video was really cool. Would love to see more!
I also restore furniture. Be sure to keep your workspace well ventilated and invest in a good respirator and replace the cartridges often. Working with solvents, finishes, and old dust is a considerable long-term risk. Love that two-tone dresser!
I 100% agree, that stuff can be really toxic. I am a woodworker and I have to cover up just from the sanding, I have had horrible allergic reactions to a species of wood I still haven’t been able to confirm. And with all my allergies, I don’t want to add any kind of lung disease to the mix. An allergic respiratory reaction can be horrible enough (had an asthma attack from mold once and never want to go through that experience again).
Wow Miranda has awesome talent, both of those pieces turned out excellent. Wish that I was young again and could learn how to do something like that. Always enjoy your content and your family's surprising talents. Thanks for taking this shut in on your adventures.
I love taking old furniture and restoring them like your wife does. One of my friend's gave me old windows from her grandfather's house that was getting torn down . I got 4 the same size and made a curio cabinet out of them
I've been saving this video for a quiet (boring) night and it was worth the wait! Miranda - you are so skilled and talented and you both make a great team! We can't wait for more videos like this...thank you!❤❤❤
Love Miranda! I used to redo furniture also, but just for myself. I no longer have a place to do it. So, I've not redone anything in years. But I just love that you showed us all of it, from the furniture, the bottles, etc. I learned a few things! And I'm just so jealous of your work space and your tools!😁😻💜💜💜
Your wife did a fantastic job on that mirror. I've always wanted to go picking in thrift stores and antique shops, but I'm not knowledgeable on what things are worth. I'm good at telling what it is, just not what it should sell for..lol. Looks like she has a lot of cool projects going on. Thanks for sharing, was interesting to see!
Merry Christmas to yall and loved how you showed your wife's side job, of refurbishing furniture. I can understand how she enjoys doing it, I've done it too. Great video Brandon keep them coming
Enjoyed this video!Like seeing the prices for items ,and how much they resell for.Its nice viewing to see your interaction with your wife as you go about your business!
This was fantastic! You can show me as many of these as you care to film and edit!---I don't mind worn mirrors as long as the silvering isn't in the direct viewing area.
Nice projects, Brandon! I'm a "finished mirror" person.... never liked the chipped look because it pokes at my "I need to do something about that" nerve....yes, I'm that kind of person! Good luck on all your projects!
Man - my wife and I are selling all furnishings next month. Love antiques but we’re going contemporary. I just bow my head and say, YES. This is what happens to a man after 25 years of conditioning. BTW: we love our Alabama neighbors.
Wonderful change of pace. My wife finished an old kitchen table that belonged to her grandmother that looks a lot like the one you were about to work on. Also, just wondering how many hours of labor you'd guess you put into that dresser that you flipped for 6x original? Gotta Love It!
Its a Miranda episode!!!!! Awesome video today Brandon. Where was that thrift store you were at ? It looks alot like the one here in Knoxville. Great new adventure and awesome video and as always thanks for taking us along. P.S. leave the mirror a bit rugged. It makes the piece look better
I'd have left the mirror alone too! How many faces, how much history! These vids are going to be a hit.....!
I love everything about this. Your support for your wife and her hobbies and her joy in redoing pieces is so special. She is very talented. The change up in video was really cool. Would love to see more!
You should bother truck
Huh? @@MarykayTaff-x8u
I like that she kept the imperfections in the mirror! It accents it and doesn't hamper the main portion being clear and usable.
Love these kind of videos. Your wife did a fantastic job on those mirrors. Would love to see more of this kind on the channel!
The mirror in your master bath is awesome! Love how you left the mirror to show its age.
I also restore furniture. Be sure to keep your workspace well ventilated and invest in a good respirator and replace the cartridges often. Working with solvents, finishes, and old dust is a considerable long-term risk. Love that two-tone dresser!

I agree with your wife. I like the old look for the mirror.
Merry Christmas to you and your Family Brandon, I love the change in video :)
You go girl. We love doing stuff like that. Great video. Love the way you are mixing it up✌️♥️♥️
She did a fantastic job. And yes, I would leave the flaws in the mirror too, gives it more character and shows it's an old piece.
That mirror turned out amazing….that dresser is gorgeous!!!
I leave the mirrors alone on all of my antique pieces. I think it gives the piece character.
I love taking old furniture and restoring them like your wife does.
One of my friend's gave me old windows from her grandfather's house that was getting torn down . I got 4 the same size and made a curio cabinet out of them
That was fun. I love that your wife can do all that. We are DIY'ers too. Go Girl Power!!
Sweet update on Miranda and her refinishing work! The dresser kills it perfectly.
Great job Miranda! I can't believe you stay so clean while refinishing furniture! I used to look like a hot mess 🤪 You're both great pickers!
You did great work restoring that mirror and that dresser unit as well.
Man, that was fun!! Felt like I was junking with y'all.. It is my favorite thing to do. 😊😊 Great video. Both of you have great ideas!!
You are a VERY lucky man to find a wife like her.
Almost as lucky as she was to find me 😂🤣 JK
It's always so much fun when you guys shake things up on the channel.
Miranda did a wonderful job, she's a talented lady! I agree with her allowing the mirror to show its age!❤
Man, I love the content of this video!! Awesome to show y’all working together!!
Liked the video and flipping content. Concerned for you when I saw the Roundup container. Ya'll be careful down yonder! 🥰

I love shopping antique stores and Miranda did an amazing job with the mirror! I agree with leaving the mirror in its original condition too!❤
Love the bottles.
There isn't a lot of the older furniture in the Pacific Northwest. Watching The Old Curiosity Shop and the Antique Nomad are much appreciated. 😊
Share these things more often! Both the mirror and the dresser are perfectly perfect just the way she chose to do them!
This was a great video! That mirror came out so pretty!!! Looks great over the vanity! 😊
Great video...very creative and enjoyed all of it...thanks for sharing... 🥰🥰
Love what you done with the mirror and that two tone unit looks quality.

The tin truck is Marx the x is behind Mar in the logo
Great pickup
Very nice
I think its awesome
1:16 Marx Toys, closed in the late 70's I believe. I had a Marx train set in the 50's, not as nice as a Lionel, but what did I know.
Wonderful change of pace. My wife finished an old kitchen table that belonged to her grandmother that looks a lot like the one you were about to work on. Also, just wondering how many hours of labor you'd guess you put into that dresser that you flipped for 6x original? Gotta Love It!
Very nice. Go Girl! Rk.
I told you before my friend I could watch you watch paint dry lol 😅 loved the video

Great video 👍 please don't use Roundup ,, it poisons the environment you love so much 😊
Have you ever been to the Winfield Antique Mall? That has one of the best bottle selections in north Alabama.
Man! I wish things were just as cheap out here!
I would have preferred a newer look to the glass. Loved this video, perhaps we can have a lot longer in the shop next time.
Marx one of the premier vintage toy companies in the country!
Leaving the mirror like that is called Shaby Sheik look.
The truck is a 1950 Marx brand. For $50 I would say yes. I own server Coca-Cola Marx truck around the same time period worth will over $100.
