Val was actually the most appealing to me in his early 40’s. In Willow he’s 28 and hot as hell of course (and that’s how I discovered him) but he’s had so many great roles since then. And it’s not even just his looks that attract people, his intelligence and sense of humor is so endearing. Honestly one of the most talented actors ever to grace the screen.
About, I simply adore Vel Kilmer! One of two best on light of actors (second Gari Oldman) and the most tremendous man of all times and the people! IMHO
he hasn't chosen films for the pay or the potential box office success - but because he found the roles challenging. That can only be admired. He is an actor with real integrity.

He should have a star on the "Hollywood walk of Fame" he's better than those who are considered "A listers" like Brad Pitt (he acts the same in every movie, sorry Brad) But Val?...He can REALLY act. He makes me BELIEVE the characters he plays...I mean it's almost kind of scary he's so good. He just has to get back in shape but clearly he's not superficial (which makes me love him even more) after the good looks fade he'll still be left w/talent
If American actors were knighted like their english peers, it is the opinion, of this writer, that Sir Val Kilmer would rank comfortably and in some cases, superior among them.
I really disappointed that Val Kilmer doesn't have a lot of positive things to say about WIllow in all his interviews. I understand its partly because of his ex-wife Johanne Whaley, but Madmartigan was his top 3 best characters. :(

He was very good though in dodging the question. And it’s not true he had no positive things to say about Willow. He always say he enjoyed doing that movie and always mention that’s where he met his wife.
For anyone who hasn't seen it, I hightly recomment Felon. Both, Kilmer and Stephen Dorff were excellent. Marisol Nichols (of vegas vaccation) is gorgious and has a topless scene too :)

The movie The Doors , Val looks , moves and behaviour and acts all like Jim Morrison in that movie, Val Kilmer had the same sensual sexy charisma in this movie :) PRAVO VAL!! Val Kilmer deserves and had to have an Oscar for this movie, i say! And Val Kilmer even more hansom sensuell and sexy in that movie, than the real Jim ;D

I have never watched a Val Kilmer movie that didn't entertain. If he's in it, its worth watching for his role alone.
Val should of done more comedy when he was young. Stuff like Real Genius and Top Secret. He still gets some good roles like in the film Salton Sea.
