"Do you remember my character's name?" "Valerie." The fact that he didn't skip a beat answering that and his sweet smile after made me fall in love even more with RDJ. AWWWWWW! Gawgeous! :D
Totally underrated movie. The concept of mixing action with comedy is not a new idea, but somehow KKBB still manages to be an original. It makes fun of itself and other films that attempt to blend the two genres.
OMG me too. His voice is so calm and poetic but at different times it can sound powerful or rebelious. He is very very talented and I wish he would (not to be meant in a rude way) have a bit more self-respect and wait for a better role instead of doing terrible movies and making people dislike and not respect him as the genius that he is.
"If I start weeping is that wrong?" hahaha LMAO I love these two! Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorite movies of all time! :) Their humour is different, but that's why I love it!
I wish Kilmer was getting offered better roles these days, when he's in good movies (Tombstone, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) he's one of the best around. He and RDJ are two of the best interviewees around, just very smart and funny dudes, so it's very fun to see them playing around together like this.
I saw Ironman tonight and Robert Downey Jr. and the whole cast was great. It was fun. I liked the way he used the line "Thrill Me" that Vals character used in KKBBang....cool!
"okay this one's from Robin Clark from Lebannon Oregon, and-" "WHAT IS HER NAME?" "...Robin" "Oh, I'm sorry I thought you said Rober I'm self obsessedt" LMAO XD
Robert Downey Jr has the Tony Stark balbo style beard here :) This must have been a few years after 2005 since Val Kilmer mentions that Michelle Monoghan had done 9 films after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. P. S. Nice to see Batman and Iron Man in the same room. I saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2007 on DVD with a school friend. We laughed all the way through the movie. These guys are one of the best comedic duos ever! 😂😂😂 Edit: This was uploaded in 2007 so I'm guessing the interview took place that year. Iron Man was also filmed in 2007 and came out the following year. That explains RDJ's beard; except his hair isn't as long as it appears in that first Iron Man. Looks best in Iron Man 2 for sure.
OMG! the ROBIN CLARK from lebanon, i swear i heard Val pronouncing it as ROBERT too ., XD love RDJ! for life!!! "this feels like im on therapy.. if i start weeping is that wrong?"
@Mysterwright Which director are you speaking of Shane Black ? I posted the other interview with Shane and the cast of KKBB and they are all talkiing to one another. Shane is a tough personality I think and takes a lot of humor to get along with.
@Seana1Ford : Pretty simple really just use the free audacity program and make .wav file clips. Then change the audio settings to use those clips instead. He says lots of wacky things that are easy to use.
@Rebelscreamer My experience with tough people is this: sometimes if you say something about someone else, that's fine but don't say it about them. That is, unless you like to see them come unglued. Traditionally they can dish out a joke but can't take it. For me though, you whistle Zappa's you are what you is my way, I'm gonna hand you a J. Peterman catalog from Seinfeld. If that results in us singing Blue Moon like Sha Na Na, so be it. If not, don't call me racist if you ain't really prissy.
The absolute GREATEST. Lol I adore RDJ. "Hi, Robert." "Hi, Honeybunny." Any RDJ fans, he's plastered all over issue 1059 of Rolling Stone magazine. Just in case you're interested. I knew when I found out, I sure was. =]
It,s so nice to hear Val,s natural voice again+his laugh Such a good actor!!!!
wow these two should do more interviews together. They have great chemistry and their minds kinda work in similar direction. Loved it!
I love this interview! Both guys are great, I love Val Kilmer!
Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday=Academy Award EPIC!

Their improv is hillarious.

😎That was awesome chemistry. Two cool, funny, excellent actors. 😅
Batman and Iron Man in the same room!
Which one is the smartest?
Surprisingly good interview. Actors are much more comfortable around each other than on talk shows. I guess everybody is like that.
"Do you remember my character's name?"
"Valerie."
The fact that he didn't skip a beat answering that and his sweet smile after made me fall in love even more with RDJ. AWWWWWW! Gawgeous! :D

"Let's have a spelling contest."
"you've got quite an interesting mind, somewhere in there. use it."

I agree they're very funny together and I wish Kilmer got offered better roles also because he really becomes his characters and is a good actor.
Rebelscreamer he did get offered great roles. He turned a ton of films down.
RDJ: Biloxi
Val: god bless you
i lol'ed
Totally underrated movie. The concept of mixing action with comedy is not a new idea, but somehow KKBB still manages to be an original. It makes fun of itself and other films that attempt to blend the two genres.

Val is sooo coool :)))
these guys have "pop", loved them in just about everything!
OMG me too. His voice is so calm and poetic but at different times it can sound powerful or rebelious. He is very very talented and I wish he would (not to be meant in a rude way) have a bit more self-respect and wait for a better role instead of doing terrible movies and making people dislike and not respect him as the genius that he is.

Their humour is different, but that's why I love it!
...OMG. Two guys with such seductive voices in one room? Aiyiyi.
They should do a podcast, it would be hilarious!
I love Val Kilmer

Haha! Love this. I come back and watch it from time to time. I just wish it wasn't out of sync.
Simply love Robert DJ!!! They are very funny together!!!

I love it. They are soooo cute together xD
I nearly always lough my ass off, when I see them together :-)
I saw Ironman tonight and Robert Downey Jr. and the whole cast was great. It was fun. I liked the way he used the line "Thrill Me" that Vals character used in KKBBang....cool!
I loved your Country Accent!!
Hilarious. Actors interviewing each other really works when it works.
RDJ is hilarious. I love watching him.

Those guys are awesome.
2023 ,Stay with us a little bit longer please
OMG they're sooo hilarious!! nothing beats an inteligent funny man
Extremely funny, very sexy, and I just love the way Val says "Why?" the second time and I love every little tiny detail from Robert.
Oh God. This is the funniest thing I have ever had the discomfort of witnessing.
They are so cute together.
"okay this one's from Robin Clark from Lebannon Oregon, and-"
"WHAT IS HER NAME?"
"...Robin"
"Oh, I'm sorry I thought you said Rober I'm self obsessedt"
LMAO XD
❤ Robert Downey has perfect grammar.
LMAO ohhh my god they are so weird/funny/cute together. magic swans. i love them

These two are hilarious!

Valerie..Whhh.hh.hhy"..too funny
OMG! the ROBIN CLARK from lebanon, i swear i heard Val pronouncing it as ROBERT too ., XD
love RDJ! for life!!!
"this feels like im on therapy.. if i start weeping is that wrong?"
"Is it cuz u married his producer? Why did u do it Robert why?" lol
I love you both I don't know who would have contempt never heard of that word in the Bible.
hahaha i SO THOUGHT of that when i saw that scene on tv a while ago.
Batman and Ironman together
Haha! See? I told you!!
Glad you found it as amazing as I did!
Haha these guys are great :D
They're not drunk. By watching all of their other interviews, I noticed that that is just how they act...in real life.
"you have nice hair." lol.
Any proper man or woman would be a melted puddle on the floor if RDJ called them "honey bunny."
Im Your Huckleberry
val kilmer is now playing mark twain.
I've been listening very carefully to everything and I can't make sense out of one word they're saying.
@breakageaqeaol Isn't it amazing how many movies Val does a year ? I liked Felon.
Felon was AMAZING. I also loved Thunderheart and Spartan, nobody ever talks about them :(
Oh by the way how do you get your computer to have it sound like him when shut off or start up your computer?
Just coming across this and I love 'em both, BUT...seems like there's a little bit of "spark" between them, if-you-know-what-I-mean...
@Mysterwright Which director are you speaking of Shane Black ? I posted the other interview with Shane and the cast of KKBB and they are all talkiing to one another. Shane is a tough personality I think and takes a lot of humor to get along with.
Val has such a soothing, soft, calm voice. Damn sexy man!
Bruce Wayne
Robert is so high in this interview.
Hey look it's Batman and Ironman. They're hilarious. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is one of the few films that makes me laugh out loud.
@Seana1Ford : Pretty simple really just use the free audacity program and make .wav file clips. Then change the audio settings to use those clips instead. He says lots of wacky things that are easy to use.
Is there a Johnathon Silverman?
These guys are so fuckin funny!!!!
WHEN WAS THIS??
i mean this is definitely AFTER kkbb ayt?
@complexbatman No worries. First impressions are almost entirely wrong, and we all have our bad days.
3:18 I thought Jeff Goldblum stepped in the room
does val have a shutter?
Downey is off his chops in this interview.
These guys need to work together again.
I agree! they have such chemistry but they do tend to slur and just share the inside jokes by themselves..
Honestly,,,, I have no idea.
this is basically Batman meets Iron Man
or even Jim Morrison meets Charlie Chaplin
