Hi Fabian. Thanks for the shoutout in the video. I am going to post a link to the video on my blog today. I know that my readers will enjoy your extra touches on the pattern.
Hi Steve. Thank you! I really appreciate that! I always enjoy browsing through your free pattern catalog. Thank you for creating scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/
I also, bought the Steve Good patterns and made quite a few for Christmas gifts, using different hardwoods. Plywood and veneer is a great idea and will lead me to make many more. Great work.
Nice. I've made 110 similar vases, since seeing your first wood vase April 2020. I use poplar for the front and back, and a 2X4 cut with a bandsaw for the middle. Helped keep my sanity while staying away from Covid-19. Thank you Sir !
Thank you Fabian! So good to see you again - I hope we'll be seeing a lot more of you in 2021. 'Til then God bless you and Frohe Weihnacht! (Incidentally, that banjo tune is called Cumberland Gap and if anyone would like to play along it's being played in the key of G.)
Hello Fabian good to see you back, as I've said before you are one of the reasons I took up using a scroll saw. I have poor coordination and fined it difficult to manipulate the work piece. I wondered if you'd have ever tried using a spiral blade, with any success.
I "hate" spiral blades because they do not guide the cut. A goode regular straight cutting blade (like this: mikesworkshop.com/collections/blades/products/penguin-silver) will cut only in one direction and thereby will produce a clean and guided cut. With spiral blades the vibration of the saw will translate to the cut wich in my case will result in a shaky and unclean cut.
Hello good night, a wonderful job and thanks for sharing !!! If possible, inform what was the mixture for dyeing the piece (the beautiful vase). Att. Euripedes
Hello, Magnificent and very beautiful work, I would like to ask you two questions, the first, is it possible for you to make available to me only the image of the flowers that you used in the vase please? the second question is that I want to buy a Scroll Saw machine like this, after this time that you work with your Peugot do you advise this machine? what is your opinion about this model? My big thanks.
Unfortunately I can't find it anymore, but I'm pretty sure I got it from one of these pattern: www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php The Peugeot is not a great saw. It vibrates a lot but maybe it's just mine.
Vielen Dank.
Bleibt gesund!

Glad you like it. The dye is Boiled Linseed Oil and Burnt Umber Pigments.
Love your content. Keep up the good work

Toller Beitrag nur wo finde ich bzw was muss ich machen um es in meiner/deiner Muttersprache zu hören?

What blade do you use for this. Keep buying wrong blades.
Most of the time I use No3 Niqua blades (Flying Dutchman).
