That looks like a great kit John. A nice representation of the intrepid little boats that helped save what was left of the human cargo of the ill-fated Titanic. Looking forward to the build.
Hi John, yes it's a nice little kit. I have this stowed away in my stash, waiting for attention at some point! The life rings were only painted white. The more familiar white and red versions came along much later in maritime history after the loss of Titanic. The ships name as seen on the life rings was also a much later addition. Enjoy it, the staining up of the woods sounds like a great idea. Regards JH 😉⚓

Hi John hope all is good with you. Artesania Latina went “bust” a few years ago so that put paid to most of their kits. However they have set up again and are gradually updating some of their original kits and releasing them again. I am hoping they redo the HMS Surprise as i missed out on that when it was being offered by Deagostini. I gave the titanic lifeboat in my collection so looking forward to seeing your work on this one
