    After watching this vid anyone wanting to build this could not ask for a better instructors guide on how to build it. Also loved all your build vids if you quit you will be sorely missed !!!!🙏🙏🙏💞💞💞💞

    You made a fantastic job of that planking John. Picked up some useful tips from you as well. Looking forward to the next part of this build.

      Thank you tony, my videos don’t get a lot of love from RUclips atm, so I try and remember why I make the videos, and it for people like yourself, who take the time to leave me a positive comment, thank you

    I like the idea of the cocktail sticks. I will use that in the future.

    Hi John, yes that all went very well, good job. I was slightly surprised that you managed the tight curves without the aid of a little heated plank bending! I thought of several things with this kit. One of those plastic display cases would probably lend itself quite well to this little model. My other thought would be to scratch build some davits, rigging and even deck planking etc? Time is the issue for such things though! Looking forward to the next part but take your time. Regards JH ⚓

    Great work, this is the first I threw away in 40 years as nothing seemed to fit. Had the hull built but then the interior was a mess

      I think the key is to build this by expensive of building , and only use the instructions as a guide

      @@Johnbuildsiconic I had the same issue as you (if I understood everything) that at the bow and poop the planks went too wide ;)

    • @Johnbuildsiconic
      @Johnbuildsiconic  Год назад

      Ye almost 8min wide of the bulkhead, in the instructions the pictures used you can see it’s the same wide gap
