Of all of the interpretations I've heard this one is the best, the singing is on point and the humor always makes me laugh.

Elina already is a prima donna. She scored that role BIG TIME in her portrayal of Carmen. And for those that haven't seen her in that role. I HIGHLY suggest you watch her in it.

le soprano del passato cantavano con bella voce pero non interpretavano come Elina che si immedesima ,si trasforma e si fonde nel suo personaggio come mai si e visto in attuazioni di artiste che per la loro interpretazione sono considerate tra le piu famose.ELINA E UNICA.

Tak do této zpěvačky, respektive jejích CD a DVD kazet s operními kusy jsem už dala dost peněz. Nejsem znalkyně opery, ale kvůli E.G. jsem udělala výjimku. Je to umělkyně každým coulem, stojí nohama na zemi a současně máte pocit, že je z jiného

@@georgioverini2299 дружище Георгий, к сожалению я в Совдепии учил три языка Русский общенациональный, командный матерый и английский со словарем так было записано в моей анкете СА, насчет английского. Зараз користуюсь українською мовою так як я українець і живу в Україні, русский уже терпеть не могу, а английский не пошел, с немецким немного лучше, ладно , извини всего найкращого.

Me gusta su voz y su técnica, pero estoy cansado de tantos cantantes que hacen numéritos circenses como cantar un fragmento de la Boheme. Una moda muy habitual desde los tres tenores que ahora hacen casi todos. Se està perdiendo la esencia del buen gusto y del arte del canto.
Jennifer Larmore is the reason Garanca is singing this...And Jennifer did it BEST.
She sounds like a parody on opera singing (and don't say that it's because it's a comical piece, she always sounds like this): incredibly unclear vowels, extremely week lower middle register (just listen to the first few bars, it's just hooty falsetto-ish clucking), and screaming, pushed high register with a wobble.
She sounds 40 years older than how Rosa Ponselle sounded in her mid 60s.
