As you said a few days ago it's really useful even so I'm learning American English I appreciate your help I cannot imagine how long it takes to make a video like this that's why I feel thankful with you Emma! 👍👍
Hola Emma, eres una excelente profesora de inglés, te agradezco mucho la ayuda que me estás dando en pronunciación del inglés británico, y además eres muy hermosa. Gracias.
Ni siquiera cuando estaba estudiando inglés en Inglaterra aprendí tanto que con respecto a solo ver un video tuyo. Gracias Emma por tanto y perdón por tan poco! 👏👏👏 Not even when I was studying English in England I learned a lot than just to watch a video from you . Thanks so much for everything Emma and sorry for so little.
Thanks Emma for your lessons, I’m not a native English speaker involved with an english man and although I can speak your language really well, the speed and connecting words in dialect are so hard sometimes. Your lessons help a lot.
OMG!, at the end a simple matter in English learning, it is really simple but it can be an important tool to boost our fluency, now I am more aware of the importance of this technics in the speaking skill, thanks for your work and greetings.
It's similar to a rhythmic group like in French when several words merge in one which may cause the change of stress in the main word. As well as I can see in English the stress stays on the same syllable. Anyway this video is very helpful for better understanding speaking English no matter what accent it is.
@@aube_d_ete For exemple - Je ne savait pas (I didn't know) - they pronounce it in one word and the stress in "savait" falls on the first syllable, but if you say 'je savait' the stress falls on the last syllable and if you say 'je savait bien' the stress again changes its place.
@@charminggoldenpride9575 Thank you for your answer. I never think of French having stressed syllables, but I can definitely hear myself emphasizing the "sa" in "j'savais pas". Interesting!
How don't I know this channel? Really, really nice explanation and your accent 😍 this is the accent that I want to get 🙌🏾 Thanks Emma, it's a pleasure watching your videos ☺
@@Pronunciationwithemma teacher i do have very important question how to pronounce words like particular , secular , articulate , regular . all have similarity in this symbol kjʊ ( it seems dictionaries and natives pronounce )sound like (i) for example . pa(r) ti(Ki)ar , se(ki)lar , arti(ki)late, re(gi)lar , etc so help me am i correct .
Thanks a lot, professor ❤️ I have a single question about the [ŋ] sound ; when I want to link this consonant with the vowel sound in the next word, will the pronunciation change or stay the same? ❤️
My first like and first comment on this video that's the best lesson 👍 consonant+vowel linking in English .connected speech really it's wonderful lesson Emma your all videos are awesome and this one was superb 👍
