I don’t know if you still have this, but the sliding keeper issue is easily solved by bending in the back halves of the keeper towards the strap. I was having the same problem, and this solved it. Each side of the keeper is now angled in slightly at the split. Works perfectly. 👍🏻

Negative display on normal LCDs are an issue unless it's a STN or a MIP display. The only Casio watch to do it right was the GD-350. Don't know why Casio didn't use the contrast of that display on other watches.
I would say they did an excellent job with the negative STN display on the Protrek PRW-3510Y-8CR too. Unfortunate that they didn't capitalize this tech on a majority of their models.
@@degenerateWA they didn't bother to use that tech on the Blackout version of the 9400 Rangeman which has the worst legibility of any 9400 Rangeman variation. The cost factor is understandable for STN but they could've atleast used the contrast of the GD-350 display.
I do not but I still like it. I do NOT recommend this version. I recommend the positive display version. Even though the OD green case is super cool, the negative display is horrible.
Would you say after a while the negative display gets easier to read? I've got a Gshock with a negative display and it's only got a small LCD negative display window under the hands but it took me a few weeks to get used to and I'm not really that troubled by it, I can read it at a glance now. I'd been wondering if maybe the negative display on a bigger watch after as long as you've had yours for, just becomes second nature to read from now?
