- In late 2017, I set out on a project to document and re-trace the tracks of the 3rd Battalion, the Scots Guards, during the Battle of Kleve in February 1945. Using a series of footage and imagery captured by several war correspondents deployed to the city during the battle, I was able to re-trace the Battalion and walk in the tracks of their Churchill tanks, some 75 years on from the battle.

Kleve was the local town to RAF Laarbruch were i spent 3 years in the army in the early 90s. It still showed war damage. The remembrance parade was at the war cemetery every year.
Well done to the original photographer to have been in front of that tank at 1.38, when it was firing at the enemy !
Bless those young men.
