I know I am going to get flamed for saying that, but the 1980"s produced a lot of marginally talented Hair Bands who could cater to a really narrow audience. There were some talented bands, but most of the Rank & File Hair Bands were just really weak ass pop music dressed up as Heavy Metal. There is no way you can compare these Hair Bands to Judas Preist.
exactly "Tapkae". i think either she was just having a 'sluggish' moment here, OR, for one reason or another, god damn song had a sequence, and she was 'tethered to it'. im a drummer, and have to play with sequences, all the time. i can tell by the way she' 'holding back the tempo', that, this is likely the culprit. why in the hell would they have 'tracks? agreed. song is dragging. too slow, which steals it's energy and 'abandon'.
