Sprite and 7 up are not the same at all. They look similar but 7up is fruity and even smells fruity, while sprite is lime/lemon.
Maybe im not as fine a soda coniseur as yourself but they taste the same to me.
@@Magicarpmaster as someone who's had to throw away boxes of soda syrup i can confirm that 7up is far fruitier in scent and flavor.
Lime and Lemon are in fact fruits so fruity.
If you have covid, Sprite and 7-Up will taste the same, because 7-Up tastes only like sugar and Sprite tastes like sugar with a bit of citrus

Moxie is underrated and overhated. People hate it because its Somewhat bitter aftertaste. But its actually really good with ice on a hot day. I recommend it to people who need something strong tasting.
After playing far harbor I had the urge to try Moxie. I went to a fresh market, bought one, took a sip in my car, and immediately recoiled. I was not ready for the taste

Holy shit I remember the 1893 Pepsi too, that stuff was fucking great.
I had a couple different 1893 Pepsi flavors and some were good but there were a couple that tasted old like maybe the cans I bought expired and they were never thrown out
I tend to not like most sodas, I’ll drink them occasionally but most are just too sweet for me. Root beer tends to be my favorite because of the tart flavor it tends to have. The only s tier sodas for me is the steelhead root beer. Unfortunately it’s kind of hard to get a hand on outside of restaurants and such, even in Oregon.
The best root beer you'll ever have is one you brew yourself. Same with ginger ale.

Zach, if you like baja blast, you gotta find a local QT gas station and make a Ghetto Blast. I used to work for them and I made them daily, 3 parts mountain dew, 1 part blue poweraid, should be a bluish green color, trust me. You need to give it a go.
My brother did that once or twice before. It tastes EXACTLY like Baja Blast

I'm so glad Zach is like me when it comes to Grape flavors, as a kid who grew up with terrible allergies, Cough syrup only came in one flavor in our house, and it was grape.. And it was horrible.. I'm gagging just thinking about the flavor.

As someone who can't drink high fructose corn syrup anymore. I have really been enjoying some of the new zero sugar versions especially Cherry 7up, A&W cream soda, Dr. Pepper and the best Mt Dew Spark. I wish Mt dew would make a zero for both code red and live wire.

For me, Baja blast, code red, and live wire would be god tier, and the rest of the mountain dews would be S-A tier

Just FYI, Coke Life was a shitty "healthier" version of Coke that replaced the corn syrup and sugar with some weird chemical that I can't even spell right and ended up giving people cancer.

I was so happy the day Mountain Dew Zero came out. I love Mountain Dew but I've mostly cut out full sugar soda from my diet, and diet Dew is freaking AWFUL. I don't know how it's so bad compared to the normal version.
Also if you haven't, try some red cap (i.e. "hot") Blenheim Ginger Ale. That shit is so good.

I have had the og formula Pepsis. They're good and I wish they would come back into stock. IBC and Fitz's are better root beers than Mug and Barq's. Hell, I like a Dad's over a Mug
About the Crystal Pepsi: it removed a single ingredient, which is a carcinogen according to Florida, which made the claim that it's healthier than normal Pepsi actually true
I think I prefer, or am ambivalent toward, diet versions. Interesting.
I was surprised by how much I like Cranberry Ginger Ale, which is that first Canada Dry.
Iirc, Coke is supposed to be drank at room temperature, whereas Pepsi is supposed to be drank cold. So the weird result of drinking them the opposite way may be why people get film or weird taste. Also might explain why fountains are preferred because the syrup's room temp back behind those machines.
Oh, you're just not a cream guy. That explains some of those choices.

Coca-Cola Life: was a reduced-calorie version of Coca-Cola, made using stevia and sugar as sweeteners
as a soda woman, I like grape flavored sodas because I like grape medicine, at least the chalky chewy ones.
As for diet sodas, there are definitely some better ones than others, with Dr Pepper being the closest to the normal version that I can place it on equal footing. Same with Pepsi. Both their zero sugar flavors suck though, that I can say definitively.
Also, Mountain Dew, more often than not, sucks, and that's because its base flavor is bad. I can only drink the original flavor if it's carbonated, which I think is a valid ranking system. I also liked Livewire decent enough, found that Code Red was never carbonated, and never tried the other flavors except Baja Blast, which I found pretty damn good. I also liked Flamin' Hot Mountain Dew because it tasted like spicy candy and that's such a rarity in sodas.

Sanpellegrino Limonata (Fancy Italian Lemon Soda) Strong & Sweet. Mexican Coca-Cola that comes in the Glass bottle & is made with Real Sugar is the best version. IBC & A&W Root Bear is Galaxies better than Mug
Limonata and Aranciata Rossa are are excellent.
Coke has higher carbonation than pepsi - its why your teeth feel so "dry" after when its from a can. Whereas if its from a fountain machine the carbonation is regulated to meet a basic level for all flavours of syrup.
