Yep and mixes with every type of spirit (don't know the American word) . You can have sprite and Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, Tequila, Zambuca, Port, even beer and wine.

The brand name yes, but the recipe is extremely different and somewhere down the line they screwed up, I've had dr pepper before they put the 23 flavors slogan on their cans and bottles.. I swear it tasted better back then than it does now.

I never realized how many people actually despise root beer. Root beer, birch beer, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and orange soda all kind of shared the same tier as go-to's for me when I was younger. So, it's wild to me hearing people on multiple different videos saying that root beer is one of the worst things they've ever drank
For me it depends on the brand of Root Beer and Cream flavored anything soda is the worst. Also as a kid I loved the cheaper off-brand flavored soda's but I am older and they do not make the cheap stuff like they use to , now it's all "natural" flavors that do not taste as good. Same with fruit snacks

I am old enough to know that before all soda was in plastic bottles it was worth paying a bit more for the glass bottle.

Fun fact: Fanta was invented by the Nazi's during the war because Coke stopped exporting ingredients to Germany(for obvious reasons) there were empty unused Coca-Cola factories in Germany so they used what ingredients were available, and thats how Fanta came to be. Quite a wild story honestly

My man they didn't even have oranges in Germany. They used beetroot sugar, apple pomace and whey. They added some fruit juice concentrates from Italy to add some flavor. Most people who bought Fanta during the war used it as sweetener since sugar was heavily rationed. The Dutch branch of Coca-Cola used elderberries during the war. The name 'Fanta' is indeed of german origin being short for 'Fantasie'/fantasy and was used during the war.
The Fanta we know of today was first made in Italy in 1955 in Naples. A place where Oranges actually grow. The original Fanta was much different.

Charlie is not alone, I just find different cups more satisfying to drink from, if you want a nice warm feeling when drinking cold milk, I drink out of a mug, if I want my throat to be soothed with a nice cold glass, I use a sippy cup or water bottle with a cap. I hate drinking from normal cups, it tastes off. And gets warm way too fast.

Fun fact: Dr. Pepper comes from an independent company so they're manufactured and bottled by both Coke and Pepsi. If the top of the bottle is more rounded and overall bomb-shaped, it came from Pepsi. If it has the other narrower bottle (think Barq's or Mr. Pibb), it came from Coke. And there are very subtle differences in taste between the two companies. (Source: I used to work for a Pepsi plant)

Confirmed: Charlie grew up as a child who only ate/drank the same thing every day and would possibly throw a fit if he was offered a different choice.

It's funny because, for my own tastebuds, Pepsi is WAY more flavorful than Coke, and it has a much more consistent flavor. It may be just where I live, but I noticed that, depending on the container (big plastic bottle, glass bottle, can) the Coke can taste significantly worse. The small bottles, specially the glass ones or even the cans, usually taste the best, in opposition to the big bottles, which a lot of times don't really have much flavor at all. When it comes to Pepsi, in my experience, this problem does not exist, Pepsi always has a nice sweet flavor, no matter the container. I'm sorry, but an ice cold can of Pepsi is absolutely heavenly for me, and it's my favorite Soda. 😋

Funny thing is, back in the 80s, with the blind Pepsi Challenge, they proved more people preferred Pepsi when they couldn't see the brand. Coca-Cola is just a juggernaut of a brand.
So real. I also really dislike the “squeaky” feeling Coke leaves in my mouth. The flavor is fine, just the mouthfeel is terrible.

Not only are the carcinogen studies for the artificial sweeteners not generalisable to diet Coke AT ALL, the sugar/corn syrup in soda is the HUGE reason for the obesity problem of America.
