I went in blind (didn't even know it was a vampire movie 😅) and when I started picking up Dracula references I got really hyped. It's a fun modern gothic for sure.
my toxic trait is i def would've married him and then j told him i'd only eat bad guys or like drink from people but not kill them 🤭 plus i liked the sisterhood aspect of having your sister vampires/brides to shop and have spa days with lmaooo

I literally thought about that, I said to my grandma while watching, "Like he doesn't even want to kill a lot of people, he just wants to remain immortal and live with his wives, I'm Poly and I could just ask him to stop killing maids, kill people who are bad people, who wont be missed. I don't know if you will see this but I hope you do. The actor that played Walter De Ville (Thomas Doherty) narrated a story on Quinn. Quinn is an app made for female enjoyment. The story is called The Inventor's Apprentice.
I've never been one to be into the Edwards, Miles, Christian Greys, all the CEOs or mafia leaders. They just dont do it, now HERE I fell into the throwback gothic atmosphere vampires and felt this would have more potential if it wasn't a single movie but a franchise (meaning more time and depth) because the chemistry between Walter and Evie and the 4 way vamp relationship was put to waste! That being said tho, Evie committing to escaping and doing so was badass.
I love that this is Dracula fanfiction. See, this is why all girls need to read fanfic, you’d have the knowledge to see the tropes and twist the situation to your best advantage.
In the unrated version at the beginning of the movie.When the statue head falls on the ground, her head falls right next to it. I knew then this movie was going to be fun 😅

Not me being fine with becoming a vampire. I wouldn't care, you mean I get to be immortal, rich, and have a hot vampire husband, yes please. Also idk if you guys noticed or if you guys saw the og Dracula stories, but the human couple in the village was named Mina and Jonathan Harker, which were characters in the original Dracula, he had fallen in love with Mina and wanted to make her his bride, she was engaged to Jonathan Harker at the time and was fine with being whisked away to go with Dracula. I don't remember the full story but I think he ends up letting her go and she goes back to Harker and marries him. I like the little easter egg that they put in there. Because I dont think a lot of people remember their names, but I do because I love vampire stories.
2:31 He wasn't in Harry Potter (i think at least). I know that guy from Fleabag. If you guys haven't seen the show, I strongly recommend it. It might not be lighthearted but it's one of the greatest dark drama-comedy shows I've seen for sure. Season 1 is great from start and then season 2 just takes it to a whole another level.
@@demontrash a great show, really. Half hour episodes, 6 episodes per season, only 2 seasons. Funny as hell, the acting is the best I've seen in TV in a looooooong time and I watch a lot of shows. I can only recommend it ☺
