The Holy Sacraments are so strong because a Thaumaturgical Theory becomes stronger the more people believes in it, and Christianity is the most popular religion. Meanwhile, Magecraft studies the laws of the world, and as science is progressing, Magecraft is weakening, because it understands them instead of just believing, like in a religion.

The only difference between Tsuki and Fate timelines is whether Alaya (humanity, human history, and Servants) is the dominant force, or Gaia (Fae, Phantasmal Species, -vampires- Dead Apostles, and Mama Nature herself) holds sway. Basically this means "Fate stories are relatively lighter because humans have a chance to make the world as they see fit", while Tsukihime is "humanity is struggling against the supernatural in an elaborate war in the shadows, and the vampires are winning. To be fair, most people look like a complete joke compared to Ciel, especially Remake Ciel. And to Kirei's credit, Nasu said that Kirei at his most strongest moment *may* have been able to take on original Ciel. I believe that particular idea was summed up well in that one scene where Kirei was running with Illya in his arms. While Shirou was the uncertain adolescent in "stay night", Kirei had already dealt with his uncertainties by "Zero", making him incredibly powerful. When infiltrating Einzbern Castle, Kirei asked "You haven't even been rock climbing before?" as if it was the most basic milestone of childhood. It makes you wonder about Kirei's childhood... (laughs) Takeuchi: Speaking of being powerful... Who's stronger: Ciel or Kirei? Nasu: Ciel is by far more powerful. Just take her lineage into consideration, and add to that her immortality. Kirei's prowess in "Zero" was rooted in the sheer number of Command Spells at his disposal as much as it was in his obsession with Kiritsugu. Suffice to say, it was his golden age. I believe the "Zero" Kirei could have defeated Ciel."

While Ilumia elected for a hand-to-hand fighting type, versions using things like small blades or crossbows also exist.

If Shiki Ryougi doesn’t see Points then she’s inferior to Roa and Shiki Tohno as Points are Death Itself whereas Lines are simply where things break easily, this would be horrible against a Dead Apostle Ancestor and True Ancestors where They can’t break easily and you have to generate a death mark.
