As much as I love the Nolan trilogy, The Batman totally blows those away when it comes to it's atmosphere. The Batman's Gotham is the most Gothic take on the city since the Tim Burton movies. They filmed in locations like Liverpool, Glasgow, and London, cities rich in Gothic Revival architecture and even used Chicago, creating a Gotham that feels visually unique. The blend of old Gothic and Art Deco buildings with modern tech, like digital screens, gives it an atmosphere also reminds me of Batman: Arkham Knight. From what I’ve heard, director Matt Reeves actually played through the Arkham series while developing The Batman so maybe he used those games as inspiration. The city does feel both old and new at the same time. It’s not quite as fantastical as Burton’s Gotham or as timeless as The Animated Series or the Arkham games, missing those classic elements like blimps, retro police cars, and the unique tech mix. But it still looks incredible, though I have to say that blimps would’ve even been handy by the end of the movie for transporting during the flood. Honestly, this might be my second favorite live-action Gotham, alongside Batman ’89 and Batman Forever. Plus, The Penguin series has been giving us even more of this amazing Gotham. That’s something the Nolan films lacked, only Batman Begins had a decent Gotham City. In The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, Gotham was just Chicago and New York, without much personality. The Narrows, along with the Thomas Wayne train system was gone and Wayne Tower was turned into this generic black modern day skyscraper. These are still great movies though.
THIS... Totally agree, Nolan trilogy is still goated but this movie alone pulled something no other Batman live action movie pulled. The pure atmosphere, cinematography, audio effects, costumes and makeup. Just pure timeless masterpiece. Matt-verse is gonna be goated soon if its already not. Cant wait for next movie and shows.
I just realized that his falling into the water was a metaphorical baptism for Batman, a symbol of repentance - which means to turn around - and a metaphorical rebirth from vengeance to Justice.
Yes! It's so brilliant, and the baptism has been a symbolic element for Batman in the past. You could even argue Joker goes through a metaphorical baptism when he's dropped in the vat of chemicals.
Yeah, they’re one of like 3 people that actually caught that! It’s so obvious, yet expertly subtle in the way Batman eyes show off that revelation, finally able to look Edward in the eye when he realizes his identity is still safe.
Just remember the time when Robert Pattinson was casted for this film. People trolled him severely on talk shows, social media, even on news channels. People called him what we gonna see a Emo Batman now. No matter what Robert does people always trolled this guy for twilight series. I am very fortunate that i got to meet Robert while he was shooting in India for the film Tenet. He is just really amazing. I have his autograph on my T-shirt. I always believed he is an amazing actor and he shut down every troller with The Batman. The Batman turned out to be one of the best Batman films of all time. I love Nolan's take on Batman but this one feels more raw and real. Robert upcoming film is Micky 17 with the Oscar winning director Bong Joon Ho.

I hope the people that complained so much about Bruce not "being Bruce" will be appeased, because that was one of the points of this movie was him realizing what he has to do for this city inside and outside the suit.
@@diegopansini3152 I think part of it might be because the first half of the movie sets up that he's still getting the hang of certain things, so I'm willing to give most of them a pass. I think this was the biggest problem with the Nolan trilogy, and why Batman Begins was one of those rare Star Wars-esque instances where the immediate sequel was superior. They kinda just rushed through how Batman's early years have been more commonly explored and accepted now, where he was more confrontational than stealth-first for like the first 2-3 years.
I really like that this film emphasises the detective aspect of the character, whereas previous ones have tended to focus more on action scenes. Also a superb reimagining of the Riddler - you can really see how Batman’s rejection of him would turn his admiration into an obsession about proving himself to be better.
It reminds me so much of Batman: The Animated Series and the Arkham games. While some aspects of this version of The Riddler are straight from The Long Halloween, the inspiration for this, he's still pretty campy even that. So he was combined with another, darker Batman villain: Hush.
This is when Batman is still new. And besides, it is Halloween. Hence the "Who're you supposed to be?" The second he said "I'm VENGEANCE" I believed him. But at the end, the very end, Bruce Wayne is no longer "Vengeance." He is something else. Something new. And now, Gotham does not see him as a danger, but as a protector. More importantly, he's starting to see himself the same way.
Batman is often depicted as the worlds greatest detective and this movie leans heavily into that aspect which I LOVE. It's also one of the only films to show Bruce/Batman as a young man still struggling with who he is. It's set during his first year as Batman which is why he's not too widely known yet. It's also interesting that there is very little difference between the Batman persona and the Bruce persona. At this stage he hasn't been able to fully create the 'billionaire playboy' Bruce persona yet. This is my favourite film version of Batman.
And combining Riddler with Hush was absolutely the right choice, ngl. Like... You get a grittier more realistic serial killer origin, but in the end you also still get the possibility of him becoming his more eccentric comic self with Batman's rejection yet Joker's approval.
This movie is beyond incredible. Pattinson was amazing. This was straight out of the comics. Cant wait for part 2. Like others have said the penguin show takes place right after and is an amazing show.
the movie's climax comes from the "batman" comics arc "zero year" from 2013-14, wherein the riddler knocks out gotham's power grid and blows up its seawalls during a super-storm to flood gotham. it leveled-up his reputation and threat-level from the purely cartoonish villain traditionally portrayed in the comics and other media. the arc covers the start of batman's career where bruce spends a lot of time asking himself "who is batman? who is bruce wayne? what is gotham?"
Honestly, I think one of the most wild flexes of The Batman is the fact that even though The Dark Knight Trilogy brought attention to Batman's no-killing rule, he still straight up kills people in all three of those movies. And Ben Affleck's Batman was killing people like it was his job. But then you get to The Batman, and you see the first scene of him fighting the dudes on the L-Train station... and if you watch that scene closely, you'll notice that Batman doesn't even commit a crime in that scene. Not one. If they had caught Batman right after that fight, and unmasked him, and tried to press charges, he would've beaten it in court. Because it was Halloween. He walked up on these guys clearly about to beat the shit out of this guy. He didn't hide and take them out one by one, he didn't chase anybody down, or keep anybody from leaving. He didn't walk up and start making threats, he didn't say anything, and he didn't do anything until this asshole raised his machete. The second he did, it was self-defense. And yes, he's dressed up like Batman, but it's Halloween night, and they're laughing at him, and whenever he reacts and beats the holy dog shit out of the guy, they're like, "Oh, shit! It's him. We know what we're getting into and we're not leaving, we're going to stay and continue fighting." If they were like, "Hey, we didn't know that was actually Batman," that would look worse, because they're lucky it was Batman, or they'd be facing a murder charge for killing a kid in a Halloween costume, completely unprovoked. And then the guy pulls out that gun, the first shot hits Batman in the shoulder and the second one pops off into the background, where it scares the other gang members and everybody drops to the floor. Then Batman, very cleanly, spins around, grabs the guy's gun arm with one hand, pointing it up to the ceiling, then, with the other hand... applies an electrical charge to the guy's C2 vertebrae, causing him to involuntarily discharge the other five rounds from the gun. And he drops him, turns around, and everyone is like, running away. Again, he's not stopping them, he's not continuing to brutalize these surrendering men, he just stands there menacingly. And then looks at the guy who he saved long enough to make THAT guy uncomfortable too, and the reason he did that is because.... Batman is wearing a bodycam. And not just any bodycam, he's wearing a contact lens cam, so everything Batman is looking at in the specific heat of the moment is *exactly* what's being recorded. So, if they played all of it back, they could probably point out, "this was when he saw the gun for the first time as he got shot in the shoulder," etc. He didn't commit a single CRIME.
Robert Pattinson is an incredible actor with a lot of range, but a lot of casual people before this film came out, they only watch popular movies and like 5 film a year and mostly by big franchises and that's why they still thought he wasn't a good actor because Twilight terrible films, but for those that actually watch more movies knows how good he is, if you want to check out his work Good Times, The Lighthouse, The Boy and the Heron, The King, The Devil Allthe Time, and an upcoming film by an amazing director who won the Oscar for Parasite, Boong Joon-ho, the film is called Mickey 17 and you can watch the trailer and it's looks great and Pattison is going to give another great performance, he also has an upcoming film with Zendaya, so yeah, he is an amazing actor.
Now you guys need to watch The Penguin TV show, which is one of the best TV shows of 2024. You could argue it's the best one, it's incredible, and it's a continuation of this film.
3:20 And a lot of people miss this, but it's October 31, like he said, it's Halloween, so they thought he was dressed, when he beat that guy, it's when they said, "It's him.".
Paul Dano is Riddler actor, another incredible actor, you can watch him in There Will Be Blood, Love and Mercy, Prisoners, Little Sunshine, and 12 Years a Slave.
Riddler and Joker collab spells not only trouble for Gotham but trouble for them to one another. Look up “the war of jokes and riddles”, these two are gonna cause unfathomable damage together, and separate
The Dark Knight will always be amazing. Special. Iconic. Health Ledger's performance is one for movie history. But The Batman is everything I love about movies. I LOVE the Gotham Reeves gave us. The cinematography was absolutely amazing. Every time I watch this, I start having to come to terms that it may be my favorite Batman movie.

The sequel to the film is set for 2026, but before then, there's a follow-up tv miniseries called “The Penguin”, set in this same universe, w/ Colin Farrell & since you loved this movie, you have to check that show out. Word is, it's even better than this film, which is saying A LOT.
Get in to the penguin. Its a tv series based on the penguin you saw in this movie. It builds a lot of this batman's gotham and shows us some interesting characters that we might meet in the second movie that will be coming out in 2026
For context this film is heavily inspired by Batman: Earth One, a modern re-imagining of DC Comics set in its own continuity that began in 2012. For context, Earth Prime (Earth-0) is the mainline universe, while Earth-One is home to fresh takes on younger versions of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman starting out their journeys as heroes. Batman: Earth One highlighted a more inexperienced Batman who is constantly prone to mistakes, gaining practice and becoming more competent as the volumes develop. Key Differences There are several key differences between Batman: Earth One and Earth Prime (Earth 0) Batman, as well as most renditions. One major change is that Bruce Wayne never left Gotham at 18 to travel the world and train for seven years to get ready for his return to Gotham as it's protector. Instead Earth One Bruce remained in Gotham and was trained by Alfred, a former Royal Marine who is younger and more rugged than his mainline counterpart. Mainline Alfred also has a military background, including being an Actor. Earth One Alfred was also the head of security at Wayne Manor rather than a butler for the Wayne's a big change. Though in the film, Wayne Manor was turned into an orphanage after the Wayne's moved to Wayne Tower with Alfred depicted as more of a butler in the movie but depicted as being younger. The Manor in the film eventually burned down, and in the present day, Bruce operates out of Wayne Terminal beneath Wayne Tower as his Batcave. In most other renditions, Bruce traditionally uses a cave underneath Wayne Manor for his operations like you saw in Batman Begins but he's also got smaller caves across the city in important locations, pretty sure he's got a secret area in Wayne Tower as well but the idea of his main cave being underneath Wayne Tower is a unique idea. Another significant change is that Martha Wayne, Bruce's mother, is an Arkham in this version rather than a Kane. Her family background includes a history of mental illness, something that's also referenced in The Batman. This is not the case for most renditions which depict Martha as someone with zero mental health issues. Bruce in Earth One is also portrayed as more reclusive and lacking involvement in philanthropic work or Wayne Enterprises, which mirrors his depiction in the film. In contrast, in the mainline comics, Bruce has already embraced his playboy persona during his return to Gotham. Simply something this Bruce can develop overtime, maybe we'll see Bruce Wayne more in the next film. And of course, there's the Riddler, who in Earth One is the main villain in the second volume. He is depicted as a serial killer with an ulterior motive, targeting corrupt officials while using more grounded technology and tactics, much like his portrayal in the film. With the added edition of Social Media. So all of this is how The Batman (2022) differs from most renditions.
Additional context, The Batman does draw from the mainline comics as well, notably Batman: Year One (1987), an iconic comic that also inspired Batman Begins. Year One introduced the idea of Bruce traveling the world to train which of course was used in Batman Begins but not The Batman. But this comic also featured Selina Kyle as a working woman, with Zoë Kravitz’s black corset outfit and short hair in The Batman being based on her appearance in Batman: Year One. But overall Batman Begins (2005) is much closer to this comic since it pulls much more from it. The Batman also pulls from The Long Halloween (1996-1997), which explores Batman's second year and the transition from crime families to supervillains, with Catwoman playing a prominent role. Carmine Falcone (introduced in Batman: Year One) is also highlighted as the number one crime boss in Gotham City and strongly implied that Carmine Falcone is Selina Kyle's biological father like this film. The comic also inspired The Dark Knight (2008) with the Joker playing a major part in this storyline, along with Harvey Dent becoming Two-Face during the events of the comic. And finally the film draws from Batman: Zero Year (2013-2014), a story that serves as Batman’s origin in the New 52 reboot (2011-2016). While Year One embraced a more grounded style of storytelling, Zero Year leans into the fantastical, featuring villains like the Red Hood, Dr. Death, and the Riddler. In this storyline, the Riddler is portrayed as the most dangerous and effective he has ever been, taking over Gotham by flooding the city, an event also shown in the film, although the comics delve deeper into the aftermath something you'll see in the Penguin show.
@@LittleGalaxyBoy The batman prequel novel which is confirmed to be canon to the movie demonstrates that bruce does indeed travel the world not only to just learn to fight from martial artist's, but also multiple university's to learn various academic disciplines from the best in their field. But everything else is correct on reeves unique interpretation.
I’m so hyped for The Batman 2. I love the casting in this one and the grounded feel it has. I hope they give Pattinson time to develop. I love him as a detective Batman. A true Batman
6:48 I remember them from Teen Wolf, another somewhat edgy/gothic show. Kinda liked it, though I got into it around season 3. I thought it was just another "love story," then they introduced newer monsters of myths (Berserkers, oni, kitsune, kanima, banshee, wendigo, Ghost Riders [like in Witcher 3], druids, etc.).
The Penguin show will not disappoint, Colin is amazing in it and it will lead into the Batman 2. Highly recommend. This Batman film though is also so good. It has a great vibe, like the movie Se7en, or Zodiac. So so good.
You guys mentioned having watched the Joker movie, but I just wanted to make sure that you know that it is a complete and total reimagining of the character of Joker, to the point where they might as well be different characters. It is not at all meant to be an adaptation of the character and really is Joker in name only.
The Batman is definitely the best live action Batman film Matt Reeves captured the world of Batman beautifully. It's basically a live action Earth One and I love it. Robert Pattinson's Batman feels like a combination of Earth One, Arkham Origins, and Lee Bermejo. I definitely enjoyed Robert Pattinson's Batman more than Bale's. But I enjoyed Bale's Bruce Wayne more than Rob's. But I'll have to see where Rob's Bruce goes before I fully judge it. Overall The Batman is a 10/10 comic book film I really enjoyed it. The Penguin is also fantastic. I can't wait to see what's next.
2:59 Ironically, that's the same actor Jay Lycurgo who plays Tim Drake in Titans season 4, which was in the same year. Him being the one that The Batman lets go, but is also Batman's 3rd Robin, seems too coincidental. He did this role (March) before he was shown in in Titans (November).
*Many have said this in the comments I’m sure, but I HIGHLY, HIGHLY suggest watching “The Penguin” which takes place after the events of this film. Easily the best show on tv right now*
No, it's canonical in different comic book storylines that Thomas Wayne saved Falcone's life... But off the record, off the books, and at Wayne manor after Falcone came to Wayne.
First there was the comic books, then the tv series in the 60s. Then there was the series of movies in the 90s with multiple batmen (Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney). Then the Nolan trilogy. Then the series with Ben Affleck as Batman just before this version here.
Guys, this movie has a deleted scene in which batman talks to The Joker in Arkham. you can see joker's face in that scene. can you guys please react to that scene since you have already seen the movie. YT Title: *The Batman - Arkham Deleted Scene (2022) Robert Pattinson, Barry Keoghan*
if DC had done *Flashpoint Movie* the way *DC Animated Universe* had done, it would have been crowned as the greatest Superhero movie. but as usual they shat on it.
I've always considered Batman: Mask of the Phantasm the greatest superhero film ever made. But The Dark Knight and The Batman are great too. Batman is the king of superhero movies. Spider-Man is the prince of superhero films his films are good but Batman is slightly better.
As others have said, you should check out the HBO series "The Penguin" now. It quite literally picks up 1 week after the seawall bombing. Episode 7 will be coming out today (Sunday the 3rd).
This is my favorite Batman Movie along with the Michael Keaton original Batman. Batman Begins was great as well. I loved the gothic feel, and think it works well with Batman.
@@LUFC273 Well firstly I wasn't talking about the casting. I was clearly referring to the city. Gotham had no personality in The Dark Knight movies. Batman Begins was an exception but Nolan had less input in that. He had more say over the look of the sequels. Nolan has a particular aesthetic in his movies that doesn't suit the Gotham personality. He likes squares and rectangles and bland colours. It made Gotham look and feel generic and boring. But secondly, if we are to talk about the casting, no it was not awful in The Batman. I accept it's a matter of opinion but I can't respect that opinion at all. I thought it was a very good cast. I was sceptical when I heard Twilight guy was cast as Batman but Robert was probably the most perfect version of a young Batman I could have imagined. He and Catwoman both felt very comic accurate. Jeffrey Wright felt so like Gordon that I almost forgot he was black. Paul Dano was excellent as Riddler. And Colin Farrell absolutely stole the show as the best live action Penguin there's ever been. I can't think of a single cast member I didn't like.

I loved Bruce’s character development in this movie. He learned that it takes more than fear to save the city. He needs to be hope too. Which also means he’ll actually BECOME Bruce Wayne in the next movie instead of being the isolated broody Batman 24/7. So many people didn’t understand that and just said “wow, he was a terrible Bruce Wayne”. Yeah, that was the point
Honestly it goes Dark Knight then this for me imo, I love it this film how he starts of as "Vengeance" trying to make a difference but by then end when the Riddler follower calls himself "Vengeance" It just clicks that being Vengeance isn't enough and it won't save Gotham, It's also way people were afraid of him and that he needs to become "Hope" Hope for a better city and a better life. I honestly can't wait for more in this Reeves Batman world the series going on is great but there's no mention of the Bat yet. I wanna see more of Pattinson Bruce Wayne trying to do good in Gotham maybe get a new version of Harvey Dent becoming DA and Bruce and Harvey working together for a change
My god, the difference in gotham in this and the dark onight trilogy is amazing. This actually feels like gotham, the dark night trilogy city just seems like new york
Easily the best Batman movie. This is a Batman almost ripped straight from the comics. Gotham actually feels like Gotham in this, unlike in the dark Knight trilogy.
You two need to react to the Joker cutscene from this film. I understand why they ultimately cut it. But if they were able to have kept it in - it would have been amazing.

the movie's climax comes from the "batman" comics arc "zero year" from 2013-14, wherein the riddler knocks out gotham's power grid and blows up its seawalls during a super-storm to flood gotham. it leveled-up his reputation and threat-level from the purely cartoonish villain traditionally portrayed in the comics and other media. the arc covers the start of batman's career where bruce spends a lot of time asking himself "who is batman? who is bruce wayne? what is gotham?"
6:52 : Matt Reeves casually giving Robert's Batman all the cool one liners that Nolan only gave to Batman's Rouges gallery.
It's him. We know what we're getting into and we're not leaving, we're going to stay and continue fighting."
If they were like, "Hey, we didn't know that was actually Batman," that would look worse, because they're lucky it was Batman, or they'd be facing a murder charge for killing a kid in a Halloween costume, completely unprovoked.
@@reflectionist That is actually GENIUS
To be fair, when he chases down the penguin, he’s committing a lot of crimes lol
As a citizen, going out geared out for a fight and getting into them is a crime.

This movie was perfect man...
Thomas Wayne saving Carmine Falcone is actually from the comics.
Dark knight may be the best Batman movie but this movie’s depiction of Batman is just perfect and that’s why this is my favourite Batman and favoruite Batman movie
I feel like TDK wouldn't be as good without the Joker. I mostly just watch his scenes lol
Same here!!!! My #1 Batman Film!!!
The Dark Knight is the better movie than The Batman, but The Batman is the better BATMAN movie than The Dark Knight.
@@Slade_The_Deathstroke exactly
@@sproductionsincyou can literally say that about every movie lol.
Batman is only in year 2 in this movie. Still trying to figure out things and find his way.
i thought this was after a year. in the Arkham deleted scene: when batman sees the joker, joker says ''it's almost our anniversary, isn't it?''.
Bruce says "It's been two years of nights..." at the beginning monologue, so he's been Batman for 2 years.
It's wild the amount of people who don't realize that and complain how batman is emo and angry and not a good bruce Wayne.
@@b.u.l.1734 maybe not 2 years literally wearing the batman outfit and alias but probably 2 years since he started his crime fighting project probably starting off as the drifter with that costume he wore in public (many layers, hoodie)
I love the way Falcone is so tough with women but then Bruce punches his lights out.
We are so excited for this to have a sequel!
Any more DC/Batman recommendations for us do let us know 💙💙
You must watch The Penguin now, trust me you will not regret.
It builds a lot of this batman's gotham and shows us some interesting characters that we might meet in the second movie that will be coming out in 2026

first time watching you guys but i loved how much of the movies more subtle themes you guys picked up on, great stuff!
Your take on this was absolutely astounding to watch. Thank you for watching & posting this reaction.💜
The people of Gotham have seen the wildest shit on their news channels 😂😂
A true comicbook novel coming to life. Matt Reeves a legend 💪🏻🔥
I bloody LOVE this channel
Ben Affleck also did about 5 or 6 movies as Batman, along with the new Cavill Superman. He was the Batman up until this movie came out.
Key Differences
There are several key differences between Batman: Earth One and Earth Prime (Earth 0) Batman, as well as most renditions.
He did not stall it. He was directing their attention away from Selina. The original Batmobile was a modified Maserati. This version is awesome.
I’m so hyped for The Batman 2. I love the casting in this one and the grounded feel it has. I hope they give Pattinson time to develop. I love him as a detective Batman. A true Batman
I wasn't going out to many movies when this came out, but I did just to see this in the theatre. Amazing to see on the big screen!
53:18 the riddlers design, look is inspired by the way he was portrayed in the Batmans Hush comics
Thomas Wayne saved Carmine's life the same way in the comics. So it's accurate and not a filmmaker's choice.
Loved your guys reaction
The Penguin show will not disappoint, Colin is amazing in it and it will lead into the Batman 2. Highly recommend. This Batman film though is also so good. It has a great vibe, like the movie Se7en, or Zodiac. So so good.

You guys mentioned having watched the Joker movie, but I just wanted to make sure that you know that it is a complete and total reimagining of the character of Joker, to the point where they might as well be different characters. It is not at all meant to be an adaptation of the character and really is Joker in name only.
Got to see this at a fans only early screening, amazing atmosphere
This is my absolute favorite of all Batman movies.
Yall understood this movie more than most bravo
Exactly. 😂 So proud of the media literacy.

The extra scene with the joker should have been kept in the movie… but as a deleted scene- top tier!
Guys, this movie has a deleted scene in which batman talks to The Joker in Arkham. you can see joker's face in that scene. can you guys please react to that scene since you have already seen the movie.
YT Title: *The Batman - Arkham Deleted Scene (2022) Robert Pattinson, Barry Keoghan*
it doeesnt matter for the story, fuck joker
YES YES YES plz
This is basically Se7en, with Batman. and it's awesome
Nothing short of the greatest superhero film ever made.
meh
Skill issue
if DC had done *Flashpoint Movie* the way *DC Animated Universe* had done, it would have been crowned as the greatest Superhero movie. but as usual they shat on it.
I've always considered Batman: Mask of the Phantasm the greatest superhero film ever made. But The Dark Knight and The Batman are great too. Batman is the king of superhero movies. Spider-Man is the prince of superhero films his films are good but Batman is slightly better.
Get real the casting is terrible, this Riddler is literally nothing like the Riddler at all lol
Gotta watch The Penguin after this. Follows is story immediately after this and it’s incredible
Looked ahead at your channel and I’m happy you are! Can’t wait to watch again with you guys
This is Batman’s second year as Batman.
The Penguin takes place immediately after this
As others have said, you should check out the HBO series "The Penguin" now.
I think we have similar taste. The Dark Knight sequels were good but Nolan made Gotham too dry and boring. It had no character.
@@RuaidhríRyan lmao the casting in this movie is awful its not even close to the Nolan series, Get real
@@RuaidhríRyan💯 gotham was generic chicago for tdk and tdkr atleast in batman begins it had the narrows which gave it some character also bale sounds awful with his bat-voice in tdk and tdkr whilst in begins he sounded js okay, literally can't take him srsly, begins is the only actual good chris nolan batman movie in my opinion.
@sazer-x2y I feel very similar. I liked the Narrows. I thought Batman sounded like he was gargling marbles by the end of tdkr.
Great reaction and movie. Also, Niamh ❤
You now must watch the Penguin!!!
NICE COYZY MOVIE NIGHT REACTION - FIRSTTIME WATCHING - TO THE BATMAN (2022 ) FILM !!!!
Fun fact: My work did some promotion for the film and we served Cappuccinos with question marks on them for a bit.
Late, but SO many people misunderstand the radicalization angle of the story, and you two got it immediately. Just wanted to say kudos.
You guys should watch The Penguin show, it's a direct follow up to the movie and will directly link with The Batman Part 2!
It’s not “taking liberty” it happens in the “long Halloween comic”
Great reaction! Now give the deleted scene a reaction! Keep up the great work you two!
Subbed your going love this movie
*you’re
My god, the difference in gotham in this and the dark onight trilogy is amazing. This actually feels like gotham, the dark night trilogy city just seems like new york
Easily the best Batman movie. This is a Batman almost ripped straight from the comics. Gotham actually feels like Gotham in this, unlike in the dark Knight trilogy.
I love this movie in my bones.
You two need to react to the Joker cutscene from this film. I understand why they ultimately cut it. But if they were able to have kept it in - it would have been amazing.
the penguin!!
IMPORTANT: Batman has always been the “world’s greatest detective” and the 2nd smartest person in the dc universe
Watchmen the Ultimate Cut should be next.
This film is incredible. My favorite Batman film. Gotta watch Joker deleted scene with Batman
I want to recommend two things to you. The movie "Coherence" and the first season of True Detective. I think it would be an incredible debate and I would love to see your analysis of these masterpieces.

you guys must watch the Joker deleted scene. almost like it's own little short film
The thing that the Nolan films got wrong was his reliance on Lucius. That, and sleeping half the day. That is not Bruce.
She can take care of herself as long as she is not fighting Bruce.
Great reactions folks. Now watch the deleted Joker scene, but do it as a reaction as you'll get more clicks than the film. Joker is played by Barry Keoghan.

I was able to see it in theatres at the last moment just like maverick. Even though i was against battinson no matter how cool or daredevily the trailer was. Final act and nygma was screwed though
