It’s crazy how a whole lot can change in 30 years. That same spot where you went spotting, I viewed on another video of a KMIA 1990 spotting, with variety of commercial airliners and cargo carriers along with numerous variety of fleets, coming in on final approaches and takeoffs. From 707s, 720s, 727s, 737-2s, 3s and 4s, 747s (2s, 3s and 4s), 757s and 767-2s, to McDonnell Douglas MD80s, DC8s, DC9s, DC10s, to Lockheed Martin L1011 Tri-Stars. Gosh, I miss those golden days of aviation!
Had a go around coming back from Auckland to Chicago after 16 hours. I was so ready to be off that plane lol.
That definitely had to suck. I had a go around 3 years ago, going into Miami coming from Kingston, Jamaica 🇯🇲 , on board American’s 737-800NG (Veteran’s Memorial yellow ribbon) metallic chrome plane.
From a former controller, telling a crew to go around because of lack of separation, is something that gets you down on yourself. Thinking of the crew having to put them back in the flight mode after being in the home stretch of probably a long flight. It made us better...PATCO-81
Miami is one of the busiest Airports. So for them to do a go around due to traffic, it doesn't surprise me. These pilots did an amazing job aborting the landing and that landing was awesome. Awesome up close plane spotting this amazing 747; she looks and sounds amazing. I love the video with you filming inside the 747 on a night go around and I also love this video from on the ground outside. Awesome plane spotting video.
Best thing to do is to install traffic signals up there with a traffic cop .
He can stand on a cumulus...they look quite solid.
Perfect camera work. Nice smooth movements and focus. Great video. Thanks!
Treat of all treats my favourite of all time thanku so much amazing love an god bless x

Greetings Betsy.
Súper muchas gracias
Miami Approach always putting fast planes right behind the slow planes haha.
Cmon man!
Na minha opinião essa aeronave é a mais bonitas de todas aeronaves. Sua imponência é algo impressionante.
I’ve had to do two go around in the last two weeks! It happens sometimes.
excellent video as always ... ask ... what camera do you use to record these videos looks impressively good
I've had several go arounds at Denver due to traffic on the runway and thunderstorms.
Wow so amazing video 👍
Not uncommon at most larger airports.
Absolutely
Expensive!
I saw a southwest 737 go around 3 days ago
Always love watching the 747's love their body styling so I really enjoyed this but I'm curious as to the occasional popping sounds in the video. Almost sounded like a gun being fired. Anyone have a clue?
WendyKS93 something to do with birds I guess
im heading to Miami in a few weeks one of my fav stops, total cluster fuck but the chics around that airport are bangin
What airline was the MD-80/90?
Maybe extrem factor
I see Cathy pacific 747 cargo at Miami a lot
Yeah they come several times a week.
Could you recognize that it was a 747 freighter before 1:50
Yep. At 1:25 when I saw “ATLA” on the livery and knew it was Atlas Air Cargo.
@@jesse00pno me too...👍👍
Passengers must've been screaming!!!
They would have been had it not been a cargo plane.
@@Bullmannumber4 There's passengers on cargo planes!!!

Pretty undramatic. I was on board for a go around at PRG in 2019 that commenced only feet from the pavement.
