@@theycallmetheboss hey, well I guess it’s a multi faceted answer. I survived the raving years from 94-99, then drifted into serious addiction with harder drugs. that lasted until I hit rehab at 36. So that’s the being alive bit and then the other thing is just to see say like Skibba n Shabba with Grindah, the recreation of an era long gone and to see all these guys together etc. Remember when I was raving in 95 when shabba was coming up it was so different, no phones filming events, it was also very underground and now to see it like this is cool but surreal. I was also part of the pirate radio station scene. So the People Just do nothing mockumentary is very realistic as I was like one of those guys 😂

Kurupt always do the best takeovers. The BBC 1xtra takeover with MistaJam is still my favourite set to date with all the garage legends. For a 90’s kid like me it was magic. Shola Ama needs to be shouted out and Craig David murdered it as did many others.
