Can we for a second just appreciate the confidence it takes to go on a talk show IN CHARACTER?!
Like not only do you have to be informative and talk about the show and promotions, but you’re immediately expected to be funny, even funnier than other guests.
Takes serious confidence in your ability of the character to pull something like that off.

I think this is the stereo type people think of in the uk when it comes to Indian people I think that’s why he’s so popular because he plays that stereo type so well without offending anyone because he’s Indian himself. He actually has a British accent.
Asim’s close friend died the night before this show was filmed from a heart attack , Asim was having panic attacks backstage and still put on a brave face for this. True grafter

His ability to touch lightly on the British humour whilst carving a very original style is world class comedy. I too have recently discovered this little gem of a man and since watched everything he’s ever done. Nothing but top class comedy
