This game is wild with all the little details put into the galaxy. A random guard in a city walked up to me, thanked me for helping out the people and city and gave me some credits and then went back to duty.
Even things like if you are wearing one of those "neurotransmitor" from Neon, the Akila guards tell you to please dont read their minds. The game has those little details that are excellent. Sorry for the broken english
Now the mischief queen begins her reign of chaos in the galaxy. This is truly going to be phenomenal. Enjoying your gameplay and playthrough so far Miranda. Loving the longer episodes

I have a couple of tips for you, no spoilers, I promise.
1. You can use any of your companions to carry extra items.
2. There is a panel just behind the pilot's seat that is for the cargo hold. Store your extra items there after you return to your ship.
3. When you go back to New Atlantis there is a kiosk to the right of the maintenance guy where you can sell all of the extra items that you don't need.
4. Be sure to switch out your weapons/ gear frequently as you will constantly be picking up new stuff.
5. Continue being the awesome person that you are!!! Truly loving your playthrough while lmao at your reactions.

I have been having an absolute blast playing Starfield so far! Already 12 hours in, barely touched the main story as expected :D
I am really enjoying it also. It has been 42 hrs since it was released and I have already played 21 hrs according to steam, lol.

I’m the same way! Quite easy to please with games. That said, I love Bethesda and have played all their RPGs since I got Fallout 3 when I was in early high-school! So easy to get lost in these games! So great to see you enjoy Starfield and I can’t wait to start it myself!
Love your gameplay videos and reactions to Starfield! Personally, I’ve been playing it and like I said before, I have put a bunch of hours into Starfield already. I stream on Twitch and have sat up all night doing 12 hour streams of this game and loving every moment. Exploring feels fun for me, grinding to get XP toward the next level encourages discovering new locations and seeing the galaxy. I have yet to fully catch up on your playthrough but I will!
This game looks really cool, looks like there's lots to explore. Great video.
The 'adoring fan' reminds me a bit of Conrad Verner from the Mass Effect trilogy. Also, if you haven't played that I'd highly suggest it. Especially if you like story and RPGs (as you seem to do).

Regarding the dialogue faces of the NPCs. When I saw the direct I was worried that the faces would be like Oblivion or Skyrim and really throw me off. Wow was I wrong! The expressions the characters make and their demeanor is EXCELLENT! I really feels like you are talking to a real person.
Hahahaha I do the same thing! I have watched so many guides on the ships and I'm still confused how they work, but I just love consuming starfield content!

You can trade with your companion!!! I actually love the adoring fan! He's adorable. Everybody could use a person like that in their lives, who just lifts you up every day (except less intrusively creepy maybe?). It's very Dom / Sub, if you know what I mean. Another tip: Before you leave the ship, instead of just leaving it get up and rest in your bed an hour. Well rested status gives you an experience boost for a pretty long time.
Also when taking stuff from chests or bodies, if you are unsure what something is you can use "Transfer" instead and you will be able to get all the details of the stuff.
My companion just becomes my pack mule lmaoooo

Some notes about the voice actors based on your comments (sorry if you already know all this, I'm a month behind in watching because I've been too busy playing the game myself). Matteo is voiced by Carlos Valdes. If you ever watched CW's "The Flash", he played Cisco/Vibe. Walter Stroud (the one with the warm voice) is played by Star Trek legend Armin Shimerman, who played Quark on Deep Space Nine. If you had chosen the Kid Stuff trait, your parents would have also been played by Star Trek veterans: Nana Visitor as Mom (she was Major Kira on Deep Space Nine), and Tim Russ as Dad (Tuvok on Voyager). One other character of note you will probably meet later on in the game is Keeper Aquilus, who is a sort of priest for the Sanctum Universum. He is voiced by Keir Dullea, who is famous for playing Dave Bowman in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Some tips. You don't actually have to hotkey the cutter for mining stuff. When you are in scanning mode, just press the fire button and it will automatically be selected. Be sure to find every vendor that sells Digipicks and buy them whenever you can... you can never have too many of those things. Resources can be stored in the ship cargo which can be accessed next to the locker (which will contain the same items as in your every home locker, for instance at the Lodge) behind the seat of your ship. They will be automatically available wherever you are using a research or crafting station. The vendor machine outside the ship of New Atlantis and some other landing stations can access your ship's cargo directly so you don't have to carry the stuff you want to sell from your ship to the machine. Be sure to use your companions as pack mules when running out of inventory space. Just talk to them and trade. Your scanner is your best friend. It can track quests (you'll see arrows pointing to where you need to go), and be used for fast travelling, even from your cockpit.
This game is getting very close to breaking Miranda if it hasnt already lol. New fan just recently found your channel looking forward to more keep up the great work. 😁
Oh you had a MUCH better time than I did getting to that satellite for the first time. I didn't quite understand power down almost everything and was sneaking along at 5mph and kept getting caught and reloading a save trying to sneak. I only powered down my engines 😂
Finally get to watch you play Bethesda products. Wouldn't mind if you played skyrim sometime in the future. Your emotions are so fun to watch, including the happy tears!😍
The game is really great so far. I did have one bug where Noel didn't give me the lodge tour, so I had no idea which bedroom I supposedly had among other things. I just reloaded my save game and tried the conversation again. So there are a few things like that. But not too many, at least they're not crazy ones like in prior Bethesda games.
Also, some of the delivery missions you accept are timed, and I didn't realise that When I accepted them and I almost didn't make it. Don't want any failed missions on my record!
I think the only other thing that I really would like a future patch to address is your companions inconsistency about going through doors and entering elevators. So many times they won't come in or to the elevator or cross the doorway with you and get shut outside. It's kind of funny but I'm sure it's just a tweak in the AI.
Protip: switch the flight sticks in the Controls option and also switch the yaw/roll. Flying will now seem more "arcade-y" and intuitive. You're welcome.
I'm quite certain you know by now, but in the 1 percent chance that you don't know yet, you don't have to favorite the cutter. It pops up by pressing the left bumper whenever you need it and you can use that slot for something else. And look out for magazines. They give permanent powerups. And you are able to observe what you are looting if you press X for transfer.

Another game with a similar power allocation system is Star Wars: Squadrons. It's a first-person flight combat game similar to how space battles worked in battlefront. You can switch power between shields, weapon systems, and the engine. The options also depend on which type of fighter you are in.

I enjoy your video and agree with your observations. When I started playing my FPS was terrible so I’m upgrading my RTX 1070 to the RTX 3060 as that is what my budget can afford. I also did the preorder for the Vasco model which comes out Feb/2024 he will set next to my pc.

The allocation of power amongst different systems - I've used it in Elite: Dangerous. It did not have as many systems to monitor and adjust as Starfield, but it's otherwise the same.
@@acehigh79 And the original X-Wing game allowed you to adjust the deflector allocation. Very useful when going up against Nebulon-B's.
I've just started playing myself, just 1 tip..the robot that follows you can carry stuff...pick up everything Inc guns then you can sell at cities

I'm 40 hours in already and its only been out a few days. This is the ULTIMATE Bethesda game.
If I'm not mistaken....the adoring fan....has the same voice as the fan from the elder scrolls. Oblivion. The fan who follows you around after you become the grand champion of the arena.

Late comment, but I really hope you do spend the next 6 months playing this as there is easily enough content. I say this after gaining 2.5 DAYS of play time and only just started the main quest 'Into The Unknown' and only the first mission of one of the factions!
I probably will play it for 6 months easy, but idk if it will be a six month long series on the channel! I definitely wanted to just do the story stuff for the channel because everything else kinda got repetitive, like the exploring!
