But we can't charge less for our job, we still need to pay the AI haha and doing the design thinking for the project I just don't know how to explain this to the client.
When I was doing graphic design full time as a freelancer, assisted by AI (up until January this year) I didn't charge less at all and I didnt hide the fact some of the process was AI, I often told customers straight up that I'd used AI. The way I see it people pay for your expertise not the time spent. If you pay for the tool, then the time you save using a paid tool should be charged in my opinion. The layout and structure of what you do and the product delivered is what people pay for. However, if you feel customers won't approve then just don't use AI for those customers
Another angle to is that you can deliver more to the client for the agreed price by being ai assisted then not (?). Ultimately I also think it's a personal choice and designers should work in what way they feel best
This is super helpful! Knowing the flags like tile is something I wasn’t aware of!

Great minds think alike ;) thank you!
Thanks for the tip. Which one would you recommend, Midjourney or Leonardo to create simple illustrations?
I do think midjourney would be the easiest once you get used to discord
