I'm following Rene and like his comedy but he still didn't explain why he took Willie's joke!
He was in a tight spot and used something he heard before, not the first time in comedy but could have been straight up and said it as simple as that

Ben’s metaphors😂 but I see where he was going when he asked about Carlos Mencia but Rene never answered & flipped it to Willie accusin him of the same shyt. When Willie had Carlos on his show he even said that shyt was overkill how they did him & if Joe wants to be on comedy patrol that’s cool but why did he only call a Latino out? He shud be fair & do that to all. They did Carlos dirty, his series mind of Mencia was funny & went on for seasons only other to do it on that level was chapelle & look how dirty they did him. We kno Cedric the entertainer stealing Katt’s jokes, Steve Harvey took mark curry’s Halloween skit. The dirtiest one was wen Bernie Mac was gonna perform for Def Comedy Jam he was the closer and practiced his jokes on comedians he thot were his friends & they all added his jokes to der acts like if they agreed wich jokes each was gona use knowing Bernie still had to go on, watching them using his shyt in front of him while knowin it’s gona be stamped into comedy history is cold🥶 doing der own ppl dirty af. When Bernie went on stage he was pissed he called them out saying they just used every1 of my jokes Steve, Monique, Simone. Saying this is a dirty game Now I gotta make sum up. Bernie was the shyt🔥 So knowing Cedric, Steve, Monique took ppls jokes & got called out by the comedian themselves. Why did they not get any backlash & cancelled like they did to Carlos🤔 it’s funny how ppl see white privilege & bïťçh about racism all da time but are blind wen it works in der favor giving them black privilege while hispanics are the ones being hated on & racists towards. That’s why Rene told Willie just drop that shyt we got bigger things to do for our community. We’re already hated by the industry we don’t needa hate on eachother. like Jorge hating on Ralph & how he put in his contracts if they want to hire him he’s the only brown comedian in the lineup, no other Latino was allowed to perform. smh Paul Rodriguez 🫡respect for calling him out and props 4putting on a bunch of unknown comedians I never heard of b4 and did that Latin Kings of comedy tour giving them the chance no1 else would. I saw it wen they came to Vegas, 1of the funniest shows I’ve been to🔥

It’s not about Carlos being cancelled forever for stealing jokes. It’s about him never apologizing or acknowledging it!! He has had many opportunities to but is too stubborn which shows how unlikable he is
The same goes to this situation. It doesn't matter whether or not William says it personally to Vacas face. Rene has heard about this serious problem in the Comedy scene and he should acknowledge that he may or may not have seen Williams bit before and stole it. All it drives is tension between Rene and the comics in the other space of the scene. His bit is obviously Williams
