Something about Into the Unknown and Show Yourself have kinda killed enjoying covers of them. I binged Let it Go covers for months after Frozen 1, but as great as Brendon Urie hitting the high notes is, no one can compare to Idina this time around
@@DanielisAwesome52 I think it might be because there's more going on in the scenes with the song, so they're not just sung but voice acted too. With Let It Go I felt like it was Idina Menzel singing (esp because Elsa looked younger) but now it's weird seeing Idina singing Into the Unknown and Show Yourself because it's so much more Elsa 😊

Possible unpopular opinion:
Honestly, I dislike when people lower the pitch and call it a "male version" or "male cover" or take the pitch higher and try to pass it off as a "kid version/cover", "female version/cover", "Nightcore version/cover", or my personal least favorite, "chipmunk cover/version". In my opinion, it's lazy. There are actually people out there who actually cover a song in the opposite gender. If you can't sing, ok. Play an instrument, or edit music, but don't edit music like this, then pass it off as a male version/cover.
But I actually do like to see these male version/ covers or any other music edits of the sort. Not everyone can sing or play an instrument, seeing edits like these are interesting is what I feel personally.
I totally understand ur point of view, but also i don't know anything about like audio editing and i think editing it like that is kinda impressive xD
