bro i been wanting someone to make a video like this for a while, cause when people tell the lore of COD zombies they never talk about where the maps fit in and what actually happens during the easter egg.

52:03 this is the same convo that happens on DE in bo3. LOVE that they flipped the original story like that, and how their convo is almost identical, but is different cos of the events and fractures that followed the giant map

Best thing about these videos is that you mostly don't consider stuff that's revealed (or created) in future games, explaining the story as it was at the time. Story lost it's charm for me after BO2 with the apothicon and everything being actually done by the will of some lovecraftian creatures
So at 23:00 with the dials and the code, I'm not sure if it is based on any real numeral system, but you can tell that C repesents 10, I represents 5, and a dot represents 1. Just like roman numerals but with different symbols
I remember being in the Xbox Party listening to all my friends play Moon while it was “region locked” for me 😭😭 WaW and BO1 were heavily censored in Japan smh
so this "tunnel" that Maxis was in is the crazy place from origins. Basically he was randomly teleported there and it was there that he learned the ability to merge with electricity (which will be useful later on on bo2). Essentially, when he killed himself he didn't actually die he just sort of linked with the station's electricity and waited for his chance to stop Richtofen i.e what happened in the map "moon."
People like these make me wanna make content. Maybe not eveythings 150 percent right but what draws me to these videos is the experience of the poster.
Great video series! I started watching, because I've been itching to play zombies since bo6 is coming soon, and Microsoft locked my old Xbox account on which I'd purchase the games. 😕 Hundreds of dollars wasted ig, but thankfully watching these videos is somewhat of a substitute for me like I'm replaying them from the beginning all over again. So thank you! You really are awesome lol
No the Vrill and the Apothicons aren't the same, the Vrill and the Keepers are, any Keepers you fight in Bo3 are considered corrupted by the Apothicons, thats why they're not trying to help, but on Revelations there is a helpful Keeper, thats just a normal one not corrupted

When Richtofen logs into the computer, his login ID is Teddy and his password is is a liar. Take away the T and you've got eddy is a liar. Which Richtofen was lying the whole time to the main crew about what he was doing
I can guarantee you that doing the EE is extremely headache inducing on solo. I remember spending at least a good hour and a half on the box just to shuffle around for the Gersch device and the QEDs.
In the black ops 3 version of shang it has a wierdly shaped moon instead of the earth moon with a rift. If you put the images of deimos and phobos on the rock and the eclipse they almost match perfectly. Maybe they used the earth moon to save resources since they had less budget in bo1 and it had to be mire detailed because its close to the map. I recommend black ops amazings video to shangri la on mars
The thing that always confused me about the timeline is that so much of the 935 stuff takes place AFTER Germany fell. Long after, in October. So for what purpose Maxis is still trying to develop Wonder Weapons and his undead army is unclear.
@@PhDxVader It happened at the end of the Easter egg I believe. Some sort of rift opened up after doing the steps in the lighthouse and the vrill passed it to us.
@@ThatWasAwesomeYT I guess I was wondering how Group 935 had it on the moon before the events of the games and then it disappearing somehow after Samantha went into the Pyramid. Maybe like you said a rift appeared and it was delivered to the characters at COTD and then given to Richtofen. Like, why would Richtofen have had to do that if the Golden Rod was already on the moon from Groph and Schuster experimenting with it? I digress lol. Great video!
1:03:21 this was the doing of Dr. Shuster after group 935 disbanded he went to help the americans with research and what not. he was trying to teleport to the moon but he was always facing a problem that is time travel. this is why when ultimis used this teleporter they went to 2025
sidenote: it would make sense george knows about shangra la because the crew was teleported there from call of the dead. i know thats writers choice but its cool that its someone from georges staff that goes looking for him. even tho it was writers choice the crew is there its nice continuity and a nice link to a new story that introduces new people (brock and gary). its like rhyming in rap or poetry ( words end rhymeA for a bar, then half way through the next bar you go "words end rhymeB, words end rhymeA, words end rhymeB" and the end rhymeB only for the next bar) idk they did a great job at linking the stories (even campaign) in bo1 and bo2 and its something i dont see alot of lore videos or critics talk about. (for proof look at bo3 (i love bo3 only cus of zc. soe was good and they should have stuck to that crew ngl the other maps are fun to play but story is eh) and the rest of their zombie games after that the story telling just isnt the same)
I think when Richtofen first teleported to Moon the power room was for some reason filled with air and pressurized to earth's atmosphere. It is no longer pressurized due to the station's teleporter excavating the cavern roof to hover above the pyramid.
I think Fluffy was sabotaged teleported in an earlier experiment, Richtofen accidentally creating the hellhound. When Samantha saw the hellhound reappear, Richtofen took this chance either to kill Samantha and Dr Maxis with the same sabotaged teleportations that killed so many soldiers only to accidentally do a real teleport to the moon by muscle memory Or he intended to kill them on the moon in a more controlled environment where he can get away with murder.

I thought he could breath in the power room because it was a cave before Richthofens group excavated it and put all the power equipment around it.

The cave the MPD was in was an inclosed space. It’s possible the MPD can at least in a minor capacity produce an atmosphere.
I know you have yet to cover BO4 Zombies, but the map “Classified” takes place before Moon.

1:25:39 the rest of the ultimis crew actually used the teleporter and went back to the past all the way to 1963
