don't take that hard, I'm just teasing with ya. it's hard hitting those docks down there...i delivered there all the time when I drove. I love watching your vlogs. I pass your house every time I go to Erlanger for my treatments. stay safe out there!
Enjoyed this one especially. Liked the two camera set up at the dock. That was a tight spot for a long wheel based Pete. Cool running into Indiana Jack. He always has a good set up when backing up. Seen him do it many times. See ya on the next one...come-on!
Flying J off of 75 in Vandalia, I visit that truck stop atleast twice a week. You can get some pretty cool footage of aircraft taking off and landing at KDAY ;)
Should send them a bill for making you sit there for nothing. That should wake them up. Need to put some cameras on the step ladders when backing up. Love your vids. Stay safe.
Been watching your vids now for a little while Tim... Got to say man you absolutely rock!!!!!!!!! Brilliant stuff and please keep safe and the the X15 lit.!!!!!!! Greetings from south coast Ireland fella from a fellow Irish Mother Trucker! C'MON!!!!!!!!!!
Keep on trucking Tim!!!! Love the vids fella !! Really do!!! Especially at stage 3 on the Jake heading down MontEagle or Fancy Gap at max weight.!!!!! My Rig has only an egg sucking exhaust brake that wouldn't hold back a chicken on a kiddy slide,!!!!!!! Had a fantastic Thelma Retarder System on all my rigs back in the day when doing Continental Work.... Safe a Houses back then,!!! Holy Smokes!!!!!!!! Talk soon Mother Trucker!!!!! 10 10 Good Idiotic Rambling Buddy!!!!!!
Who ever decided you need to slide tandems back before loading and unloading. Where I work they require the same thing. I know damage to dock locks from air ride trailers bouncing was one reason. I don’t thing it makes any difference, slow down before hitting the dock plate with the fork truck!
It is hard to back into a hole with a long wheelbase tractor when the trailer is slide all the way back. Why don’t you get lined up with the hole before you slide the trailer wheels? It would make it a lot easier.
Hey Tim, I enjoy watching your videos and I was wondering if you can show me how you have your Keep Truckin equipment hooked cause I have a 06 379 Pete myself.
if you keep doing these $3 to $4 / mile short haul loads you will begin to run out of retirement checks to support your trucking business I guarantee you that why do you think JB Hunt is playing with your mind to take this load? because they know they can subcontracted to a confused trucker that wants to be a businessman you just took a load off of JB Hunt hands for half what they charged the customer. but if you are happy with that more power to you tn4
I delivered at a chicken place in Ohio and was 30min late due to a crash on a two lane which closed the road down. The reciever hit me with a $250 late fee and $280 lumper fee. Penalize the trucker for being 1min late but hold him for 3hrs and let him loose just before detention pay (which doesnt makeup for time lost) and tell him "have a nice day" Lol. Really! Industry has some flaws for sure, HEB in San Antonio TX and McLanes in CA were the fastest places I unloaded at.
Texans and Candy! Should have told them if ya want your load drop the bullshit late fee and lunper fee or take it to store it elsewhere or back to where it came from piss on them pathetic ass holes
Sir Tim !!!! MORNINGS !!!! Keep those videos coming & Have a good run to IA... Waiting to see what you put up !!!! KEEP IT SAFE !!!! Don't forget the chock block ????!!!!!!!
That sounds like the BiMart warehouse out here in Eugene Oregon. I used to have GE lightbulb deliveries there. Maybe 14 16 pallets worth. Make it countable they would say. Meanwhile they would disappear and you would be breaking it all down for them! Finally got sort and segregate out of them. Cut my time down when they had to pay for it!
I picked up from P&G and delivered to NJ (Pathmark; now defunct). Took 10 hrs to unload; same BS with the pallets and counting. That was 25 yrs ago-seems like nothing changes with these (grocery warehouse) idiots.
Really do like these longer videos. I love the OTR-O/O knowledge you've been dropping. some may think its boring... I don't. Like your bit on this video about why u don't care for grocer warehouses... That's awesome, I love picking up on knowledge like that man. Do you find yourself in tight situations where u aren't able to back in your own stretched out truck and trailer? :). You mentioned that you probably wouldn't be able to at this particular warehouse if u would've gotten a dock between two trucks... Would be a tough situation to deal with... Just curious. You have yourself a good one. Am still keeping up on all your videos. Be safe out there man. From a friendly blue collar factory worker from Wisconsin.
Everything I heard about grocery warehouses made me happy I pulled rgn, 999 out of a 1000 were happy to ship or receive. Good video, wash that pete soon or your boss will have words with you, enjoy your videos. One thing I get is you do very little deadhead, on rgn my deadhead was 40% of total mileage, just part of the game, pull toy said so.
Great video as always, be mice if you get you a rear face camera like IndianaJack’s setup, see how you back them trailers up, that is impressive to me.
JB HUNT, P&G, to early gotta leave, 17:00 p/up, grocery warehouse, probably NASH-FINCH, OMG 😲, PROBABLY A LUMPER FEE, I’m depressed just thinking about it.
It's your transmission and your party too. Yes your shifting could use some work, air noise from selector switches should be all that is heard if done properly.
TESCO Grocery warehouses in the UK are exactly the same. I refuse to go to them for the same reasons. I had a opportunity to view inside one day and my load was all lined up ready to load. The trailer was on the dock ready to receive the load. 4 hours later they started to load. Disgraceful!! One guy refused to wait but they wouldn't raise the barrier so he called the Police and told them he was being held hostage. They let him go double quick. Really enjoy your videos and the Idiotic Ramblings. Have a great day. ''COME ON''
When youtube got rid of monetization they toke alot of peoples Money me it was $93.00.I can see me getting that back in a Class action Lawsuit in the future.
Hah you don't want to be a yard driver lol Yes peyton's is a horrible place drivers they send there end up missing the second half of there loads because of them. Oh I know a place you would love Knoxville folding You take half the room you had at peyton's sprinkle in trailers that are extremely close like barley enough to squeeze down beside and they want the tandems all the way back.
Watching on Jul !0, 2018; You are looking rather weary my friend. Trucking: a tough industry. Take care of you, because nobody else will. Get rest. You will suffer down the road in life as your body will tell you. Not only are you an owner/operator, now you're a You Tube star. Think about it.
oh yay!!! You did it without a yard driver putting it in the dock for ya!
don't take that hard, I'm just teasing with ya. it's hard hitting those docks down there...i delivered there all the time when I drove. I love watching your vlogs. I pass your house every time I go to Erlanger for my treatments. stay safe out there!
LOL good luck buying your new Mack
My new one goes on the line in October, and with a 280 wheel base, I'm sure the yard mule will get a lot of free lunches.
Why not slide your trailer tandems all the way back once your truck and trailer are lined up in the dock?
Shane Valin this facility and several others make you slide them before you cross the guard shack
The rates you quoted are to the truck?
Haha I like the way you think.
Thanks for the great entertainment. Helps break up my boring day.
Ferd Farkle 👍👊👊
Always great video Tim your video's mostly pure trucking which is what I like lots of good road footage .Be safe.
41:34 on the right side of the road looks like a bigfoot tree pushover.
Enjoyed this one especially. Liked the two camera set up at the dock. That was a tight spot for a long wheel based Pete.
Cool running into Indiana Jack. He always has a good set up when backing up. Seen him do it many times.
See ya on the next one...come-on!

Life is Good. I hope I get to meet you one day I went to a big semi show in Lexington last month it was incredible
It is hard to back into a hole with a long wheelbase tractor when the trailer is slide all the way back. Why don’t you get lined up with the hole before you slide the trailer wheels? It would make it a lot easier.
James Dayton they make you slide them before you go through the gate 👍
Kind of thought that's what that was but just wanted to kind of make sure
Yup.. you can back up Mr. Tim.. nice job as always
Next time your running 75 could you video going past the Richmond Ky / Duncannon lane exit's. That's where I grew up. Thanks and keep it safe.
Well...I don't grind them as a rule but I've been known to "scratch 'em" a time or two. lol

david schabel yes lower deadhead and lower equipment cost along with less operating cost and still pull north of $3 and sometimes $5 a mile 👍
Great video as always, be mice if you get you a rear face camera like IndianaJack’s setup, see how you back them trailers up, that is impressive to me.
That's surprising
I like the Indiana Jack, and make scents. And of course life is good , COME ON !!!
Tim, are you entering the Pete in the truck show?
Robert Mosley no no, that’s way too much work
P&G gives the customer two hours to unload or they charge the customer.
JB HUNT, P&G, to early gotta leave, 17:00 p/up, grocery warehouse, probably NASH-FINCH, OMG 😲, PROBABLY A LUMPER FEE, I’m depressed just thinking about it.
undercoverboss2020 believe it or not, there wasn’t a lumper fee and they had me unloaded in exactly two hours 👍
Is the lumped fee in the rate you negotiate????
Lumper fees are reimbursed.
