They're called 40 mike mikes "BIP" rounds (Blunt Impact Projectile) (though instead of rubber they use like a hard foam, think a nerf dart... but 100x more scary)... Seen a couple protesters in riots take em' to the ol' twig n' berries. Fun to shoot! Tear gas and smoke is cool too, nothing quite like a 40 to give you some morning wood.
And there's this thing you can buy for your AR15 that is called; "Can Cannon." It'll shoot any can shaped object and you can even make your own loads for it since it's basically a big ass barrel you can shove shit down. So... technically, you could launch Monster cans at people.

@@walt9327 Oh lord that fuck up. No, you're correct, 40 Mike Mike does not refer to the round itself... Apologies for somehow missing that last part. Anyway, 40mm actually comes in a bunch of 'flavors' at least the few that I've seen. So far as I know there's 4 different shells that the department uses... "BIP, OC, CS, TR." Depends on who makes them but the ones I'm referring to look almost like a shotgun slug with the wadding still on the back but with a large hard foam or gel blob on the front, this of course would be the Blunt Impact Projectile. I've also seen other departments using almost a canister shot sort of deal where it launches hard rubber balls using a wadding.

You sir are correct. They have different variations, but i myself have used the 40mm Foam Baton rounds and the rubber ball scatter out of an M203 mounted under and M16A2. The foam baton is actually like 3 "less hard" hockey pucks back to back to back and have decent spread for about 20 yards. The rubber balls is a lot like a bird shot out of a shotgun, all they are is the stinger ball riot grenade put into a 40mm launcher variant. The effects they produce are pretty neat.
