The Claddagh necklace (pronounced Cla - Da), represents Love, Loyalty and Friendship - the heart represents Love, the crown represents Loyalty, and the hands represent Friendship. The Claddagh ring can be worn in a number of different ways to denote the wearers relationship status.
An Arboretum is simply a plantation of trees. Arbor means tree . This Arboretum is planted around a number of national monuments to the fallen military of the country. So there are separate monuments for the different branches of the services. It is specially site near the centre of the country so that it is not too far from everybody.

I'm actually a chiropractor but I've been organising so many trips for my friends that it's actually almost like a second job by now, to the point that I've made a channel on some of my trips (but only in Italian unfortunately). I tried to come up with an itinerary including all the places you've seen in your videos arranged in a way that would minimise driving time. There are a couple of outliers but the itinerary can be tinkered with to make it shorter.

The little 'Clock' on the chain is traditionally known as a 'Pocket Watch'. Yes Steve, it's what a train conductor or a Victorian Gentleman would use. They were used before wrist watches were invented and have been around in some form since the 1500's. Yes Steve, it's what a train conductor would use. They would be worn on a chain on the front of a waistcoat (Vest?). The chain would hook through a button hole at one end and the watch would be tucked into one of the little pocket on the front of the waistcoat. Now they're traditionally used when your dressed up in you really smart clothes for events like weddings and christenings. I still have the old vintage 'wind-up' watch I used at my wedding as well as a couple of more modern ones. Weight is often a sign that they're a good quality watch.
The NMA is a place where there are various memorials to all those who have died in conflict or peace. Its primarily military memorials, but there are loads of civilian memorials also, for instance there is a memorial to those scouts who died during wartime.
Hi all. My favourite animals have always been elephants and pandas. For my 70th birthday my family bought me an elephant experience at a wildlife sanctuary about 40miles away. I went behind the scenes with their 4 elephants. Gave them breakfast, mixed up their meds into their treats, went out into their paddocks whilst they were still inside, and hid their enrichment around for them to forage once outside. We also hosed them as they came out. They are so beautiful and majestic. Also when I retired in 2017 i treated myself to a holiday in China. I went to the panda sanctuary in Chengdu and spent many hours watching lots of pandas of all ages. I am so lucky. If i can work out how to do it I will send some photos. The National Arboretum is an amazing place. It is designed to have various memorials for fallen soldiers, there is a statue there of a distant relation to me, a soldier with the surname of Coltman. The original idea was to plant many trees,hence the `arboretum', and link the areas to the north and south with trees and forests making a `backbone ' of forests up and down the country.

The postal service on this side of the pond has been a mess the last few months--more so than usual. As for the shape of the stamps--the international stamps are the only ones that are circular. Our "regular" ones are just boring squares. haha

As far as i know the tin whistle is not unique to ireland,but i can't think of another country where its as common.
I hope you have a large bottle of headache tablets because that tin whistle will drive you crazy after a few minutes
